If you can’t walk and pain over any bony parts need x ray. Consult orthopaedic doctor in person near by - he will let you know - need for X-rays. If it is only ligament injury and inversion or eversion of ankle. Elevation ice- it will take up to six weeks to heal.

Get your ankle X-ray first. If there is no fracture,You may need to brace it. You also need some analgesics to relieve pain . Meet your doctor first.
