Firstly we need 2 views to determine a fracture … this doesn’t show an obvious fracture but we can’t rule out anything with just one view…
Next Steps
Consult a doctor

Based on the X-ray image you shared, I do not see any obvious displaced fracture. However, as this is a photographed image and only one view is available, a small fracture cannot be ruled out. Persistent pain over the ankle bone 8 days after a twisting injury is commonly due to a ligament sprain, but it should be examined clinically. A crepe bandage alone may not be sufficient. Continue rest, ice, compression, elevation (RICE), avoid strenuous activities, and use an ankle brace if walking is painful.
Next Steps
Please consult an Orthopaedic surgeon for a clinical examination. If possible, share the original X-ray (AP, lateral, and mortise views) or the radiology report. If pain, swelling, or difficulty bearing weight persists, you may require repeat X-rays after 10–14 days or an MRI to rule out an occult fracture or ligament injury. You may also book an online consultation with me and upload your X-ray images/reports for a more detailed assessment.
Health Tips
Do not ignore persistent ankle pain after an injury. Walking excessively on an undiagnosed fracture or significant ligament injury may delay healing and lead to long-term instability.

as per your history you got your ankle injured but xray is of foot. if there is an ankle fracture it needs to be immobilized in plaster. also severe ankle sprain without fracture may also need plaster immobilization for better healing of soft tissues.
Next Steps
get an ankle xray AP and LAT. till that time avoid putting weight on the injured foot. apply ice and keep the foot elevated over pillows while lying down. if ankle xray shows fracture consult nearby orthopedic dr.
