Generalized anxiety disorder( GAD) is curable. The duration of treatment and cure depends on the severity of your symptoms alongwith the factors causing anxiety. I would recommend you to use medications alongwith counselling from a psychiatrist to see improvement in your symptoms and you can win over your GAD
Next Steps
Consult Psychiatrist for medications and counselling

Generalised Anxiety Disorder has treatment, depending upon the severity. The options available are from medications to therapy, and a combination of both, to even newer non - medication, non - therapy options. The treatment regimen may be customised as per the patient. However, only on consultation with a registered psychiatrist or a psychologist will you get an idea as to the treatment plan that you will individually require. As to being 'fully cured' I will say that with the treatment options available, you may find much greater relief with treatment than on not taking any.
Next Steps
Consult a registered psychiatrist/psychologist on an individual basis to get a complete diagnosis and treatment.
Health Tips
No issues with a second opinion but remember it takes time for any medication and therapy to act.

Hello Good News: GAD Is Treatable Like other anxiety disorders, GAD can be effectively treated with psychotherapy, medication, or a combination. Cognitive-behavioral therapy, or CBT, teaches skills for handling anxiety, which helps those with GAD learn to control their worry on their own. Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling online All the best
