Hi, I understand, here’s what you can do to overcome your fear of public speaking, start by acknowledging that it’s normal to feel anxious. Shift your focus from yourself to delivering value to the audience, which will help reduce self-consciousness. Begin practicing in low-stakes environments like small meetings to build confidence. Use visualization techniques to imagine successful presentations and employ deep breathing exercises to calm your nerves. Since you feel more confident once you start, ensure you're well-prepared on your topic. Gradually expose yourself to larger audiences and consider joining a group for practice and feedback. These steps will help you overcome your fear and grow professionally.
Health Tips
Practice deep breathing.

Hi Overcoming the fear of public speaking can be a gradual process, but with consistent effort, you can build your confidence and improve your skills. Start by reframing your mindset: view public speaking as an opportunity to share your knowledge rather than a performance where you might be judged. Practice is key; begin by speaking in front of small, supportive groups before moving on to larger audiences. Familiarize yourself with your material through repeated practice, which can help you feel more in control. Additionally, consider joining a group such as Toastmasters, which provides a supportive environment to practice and receive constructive feedback. Breathing exercises and visualization techniques can also help reduce anxiety before speaking. Finally, focus on the message you want to convey and the value it brings to your audience; this can shift your attention from your fears to the impact of your work, ultimately enabling you to present more effectively.

Hi dear concerned, To overcome public speaking fear, practice deep breathing and visualization to reduce anxiety. Prepare thoroughly and start with small, low-pressure speaking opportunities. Focus on sharing knowledge rather than perfection. Gradual exposure builds confidence. If anxiety persists, consider joining a public speaking group or seeking guidance from a coach.

Hey, public speaking can be really intimidating, especially when you’ve been shy or introverted from a young age. The fact that you’re aware of it and want to overcome it is already a great first step. What has helped many people in similar situations is starting small. You don’t have to dive into big presentations right away—maybe start by speaking in smaller groups or even practicing in front of a mirror. Gradually building that comfort level can help ease the anxiety. Another thing that might help is focusing on the content, rather than how you’re being perceived. If you trust your knowledge of the topic and remind yourself that you're prepared, it can take some pressure off. The nerves are normal, but with time and practice, you’ll find they become easier to manage. You could also try techniques like deep breathing or grounding exercises before speaking to calm the anxiety.
Next Steps
If it's something that feels really paralyzing, working with a therapist or coach on this could be helpful. You're not alone in feeling this way, and it’s definitely something you can overcome with time and consistent practice.

1.     The primary reason of fear of public speaking is that we know that we don't know enough on the topic. So, first of all get mastry over the topic of speech.  Alternatively, you may choose to deliver those topics on which you are expert. 2.     Thereafter, start speaking in front of small gathering. 3.      Start asking relevant questions or doubts from other speakers by standing from your seat.  It will acclimatize you. 4.     Initially, you may choose a role in which you have to be present on the stage ( visible to audience) without involving any kind speaking.  It will normalize you to face the audience, in due course of time. 5.  You can start with those rolls where knowledge is not required and questions not asked i.e inviting speakers on stage or announcing the winners etc.
