Hello sir , After a tooth extraction, it's crucial to avoid spitting for the first 24 hours. Spitting creates negative pressure, which can disturb the blood clot that's forming at the extraction site. This clot is essential for proper healing. After the 24-hour period, you can spit gently, but still be careful. Here are some additional post-extraction instructions: No using straw Apply ice pack Gentle rinsing Medication to reduce pain and swelling If you experience prolonged bleeding, pain, or any unusual symptoms, reach out to your dentist for advice.

First important things is you should avoid spitting for first 24 hours after extraction. Spitting creates negative pressure, which can dislodge the blood clot forming at the treatment or injury site. This clot is crucial for healing, particularly in cases like tooth extraction or trauma. After 24 hours, spitting is generally safe, but continue being gentle. If you notice prolonged bleeding, pain, or other unusual symptoms, consult your dentist.
