Hi All, My brother is detected with fatty liver, where reports says liver is enlarged 16.5 cm and mild diffuse fatty infiltration. What does this mean. Is this reversible. I am attaching his report

Ultrasound scan report shows fatty liver. Diet modification and lifestyle modification and exercise will definitely help.

get his liver function tests and lipid profile tests glucose levels done.

If he is obese losing weight is a priority. avoid fatty food spicy food and alcohol drinks exercise regularly for 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week

This is a universal problem. Almost all adults (especially males) have it. The Sonologist didn't quantity the degree of Fatty infiltration. For further management you should consult a General Physician on Practo. Get your LFT done before that.

This is earlt fatty liver.if he takws alcohol,he needs to reduce intake.if non alcoholic,proper lifestylw modifications can reverse the condition at this stage.please get liver functiin tests,cbc,blood sugar and lft and contact wirh reports
