Basically u need medications to support the nerves like neugaba 75 mg after food for 4 weeks along with it calcerol sachets weekly once into 6 weeks. Advanced physiotherapy to control degeneration and to relieve compressions at multiple levels for 2 to 4 weeks .and later posture correction along with muscle strengthening exercises to strengthen abdominal muscles and spinal extensors .

Cervical collar is for when there is excruciating pain. Daily use makes the spine stiff.
Medications help to reduce pain but don't reduce the stiffness. That requires physiotherapy treatment including mobilisation and exercises.
