Disc bulge pain
For last 2 month, I feel pain on the right back and right leg. Went for MRI, as per the below MRI findings, I have problem in the left side only. But i never felt any kind of pain in left side till now. MRI results: At L3/L4, asymmetric broad-based disc bulge is indenting the thecal sac. Mild lumbar spondylosis with suggestion of left L5 pars defect. At L4/L5, mild spinal canal stenosis and mild impingement of the left L5 descending nerve root. There is no problem in MRI for my right side and there is no bulge in right side also. Why left side mild spinal canal stenosis is causing pain only on right back and leg? My pain on right side increases with activity and reduces on rest.

Hi Radiological findings sometimes are not consistent with your symptoms/clinical findings. Symptoms on your right may be due to compensatory muscle/fascia/vertebral motion for left sided pathology. Have yourself screened with sports doctor/ spine doctor for better correlation of symptoms and severity and best suited plan for you.
Next Steps
consult specialist first

Hello, I can’t comment unless assessed physically. There is a possibility of muscle tightness which might be a cause for the discomfort in your left leg, But this can be confirmed by assessing it physically by the physiotherapist.
Next Steps
Visit a nearest physiotherapist.
Health Tips
Starching and strengthning exercises will be helpful for him for managing it.
