CT scan is associated with a lot of radiation. Apart from that there is no problem. Contrast medium is safe.

It’s completely normal to feel a bit anxious before a CT scan, but there’s no need to worry. CT scans are generally safe and commonly performed. There are no significant side effects, and the procedure itself is quick and painless. As for preparation, you might be asked to avoid eating or drinking a few hours before the scan, depending on whether contrast material will be used. Wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is also a good idea, and you may need to remove any metal objects like jewelry. The staff will guide you through the process, and they’re there to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Just take a deep breath, and remember that this scan is a useful tool to help you get the answers you need. You’ll be in and out before you know it!

To prepare for and recover from a contrast CT scan, stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, consider consuming ginger, vitamin C, and omega-3 fatty acids to reduce side effects like nausea and inflammation, and follow your doctor's instructions.

Don't worry. Just have lots of water for 2 days prior to CT scan, so that the contrast is immediately washed out. Get your kidney functions and Blood sugars checked. These reports will decide the type of contrast given. Be positive. All will be good

Before doing Contrast CT scan , your kidney function test will be evaluated and also if any history of drug allergy. Since your age is 25 , it's better to go for a contrast MRI. May I know the reason for taking a scan right now?
Next Steps
Consult a doctor online or offline and evaluate the details
