Crash dieting implications
I had done a 4-week crash diet surviving on less than 1000calories a day, combined with an hour of gymming per day. I lost close to 10kilos in this manner - I went from 86 kilos to 76 kilos, I'm 170cms tall. Subsequently I resumed a regular diet. 4 weeks later, however, I have developed mild angular cheilitis, had hair loss and have noticed that I am bruising easily. I am a heavy smoker, close to 10cigarettes a day, I was smoking during he diet as well. Could vitamin deficiencies alone be the reason for the symptoms ? I am taking B complex and C supplements now and the symptoms seem to be resolving.

Don't use short cut way or following crash diet for weight reduction. Suddenly & fast weight loss may be negative impact on u. For reducing weight follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and brisk walk morning and evening. Take high fiber food in ur diet. Add more fruits and vegetables in ur diet. Add plenty of water. Small and frequent feeding should be included in your diet. Avoid junk and oily food. U can reduce ur weight 5kg within one month by following rules.

Hi According to your height (170cm).and weight 86 kg you should follow a diet of around 2000 calories , to reduce around 1 kg per week which is a healthy weight loss regimen. But you followed 1000 cal diet which should not be recommended. Hair loss and other health condition may be the side effects.

Hello Sir, Crash diets with very low calorie intake and intense activity is very harmful as we all know. it causes nutritional deprivation along with muscle loss which is not desirable. Its is obviously because of the protein and vitamin deficiencies that you are experiencing the above symptoms and smoking adds on to the toxicity.
