Advices
⢠Drink plenty of warm fluids such as water, soup, and herbal teas to stay hydrated and loosen mucus
⢠Rest adequately and avoid exposure to cold or dusty environments
⢠Use saline nasal drops or sprays to relieve nasal congestion and watering
What to Monitor
⢠Note the pattern and severity of fever, cough, and nasal symptoms
⢠Watch for shortness of breath, persistent high fever, or worsening headache
⢠Monitor if mucus changes color to green/yellow with worsening symptoms
Management
You may take paracetamol for fever and headache, and a mild cough syrup if necessary. Avoid self-medicating with antibiotics as they are not needed for most viral infections. Symptomatic relief is usually sufficient in the initial days.

Hello,
Noting your symptoms, type of cough if is with or without Sputum is to be known, Any complaints of nose block, ear block, ear pain, discharge from ear, pain I throat while swallowing, repeated episodes of cough and cold, sneezing, difficult breathing, heaviness in the face and head.
Next Steps
As the complaints are from past 4 days and not reducing, possibly is bacterial infection.
Suggested medications:-
1. T.AUGMENTIN 625 mg one tablet in morning and one in night after food for 5 days
2. T. MONTEK LC 1 tablet at night after food at night for 3 days
3. If cough is there with sputum, SYRUP. ACSORIL EXPECTORANT 10 ML Two times a day, morning and night after food 3 to 5 days
If no Sputum, take SYRUP ASCORIL D instead
4. T. PANTOP 40 mg one tablet in morning and noght 30 mins before food for 5 days
5. T. PARACETAMOL 625 mg can be taken upto 4 times a day till fever persist with a gap of eight hours
6. Have hot water gargles and steam inhalation, three times a day
7. Avoid chilled food items
