Hello, Thank you for the query. Will surely help you. You can include green tea in your diet but during the day. Avoid taking it in the night as it will affect your sleep cycle. For weight loss, your overall diet and lifestyle matters and just not taking a particular food will help. With some healthy lifestyle changes and proper diet, you can focus on weight loss. - Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables in your diet. - Include good amount of complex carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats in your diet - Avoid consumption of added sugar which is usually present in packaged and processed foods and junk food. - Don't skip any meals and consume small and frequent meals throughout the day and maintain portion sizes. - Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. -Get yourself proper rest and sleep. Minimize stress levels. Hope this information helps. For a customised diet plan through an online or an in-person consultation, you can reach out to me via practo or on www.vasundhara.me . Thanks

Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Fat loss is a gradual process. There is no quick fix approach hence only consuming green tea will not help. Following a healthy diet which has optimal amounts of  first class proteins, reduced carbohydrates  & healthy fats along with a structured exercise program that is balanced with weight training and cardio will surely help. Besides these factors, we need to take into account that there are no hormonal imbalances that can impede your rate of fat loss. For personalised diet and exercise guidance please contact us.

Hi It’s not advisable to have green tea before sleep. You can take jasmine tea or chamomile tea. 2-3 cups Green tea per day is fine but not more than this. Green tea makes you feel dehydrated so adjust your water quantities.

Hello practo user, Green tea is great it enhances metabolism and is also rich in flavonoids hence anti carcinogenic. The only problem is green tea contains caffeine in small amount which will disrupt sleep and will cause insomnia.
Next Steps
There are caffeine free versions of green tea like rose tea ( organic) or matcha tea etc.. This so called herb tea are caffeine free. They give rather calm and relaxing effect.
Health Tips
But do check the label it should mention caffeine free.

Hello, Green tea is something with low calorie and contains anti oxidants which helps in better metabolism.  But drinking it during sleep time can affect or disturb your sleep. I suggest to drink it in the mid morning without sugar.
