Hi ... bmi is just an height to weight ratio but our body is composed of fat water and muscle ... so what you need to track is your fat % and concentrate on fat loss may be keeping your weight the same by increasing muscle weight and decreasing fat %.

Hello, the BMI of a person can be near normal, but not always is the fat distribution of the body as desired! For that to happen, we need to work on the areas we won't to get in shape, like the stomach. We also need to make sure that our diet is correct, a higher amount of complex carbohydrates which includes whole grains, pulses, with a lower proportion of visible fats.also Taking into account the quality of proteins, consuming more of low fat animal sources. Along with the diet, which will look after maintaining the BMI, to cut down on your fats focus on doing some physical activity which concentrates on building muscles of the area you want to loose fats, example: crunches, which helps reduce fats of the stomach and build muscle.
