Allergic bronchitis
Hello doctors i am recently diagnosed with allergic bronchitpis and allergic rhinitis, Is it same as chronic bronchitis which is caused by COPD what is life expectancy for someone with allergic bronchitis

You just need to stay away from the allergens No its not like copd which is mostly caused due to smoking

It's not at all related to COPD. This happens with the allergens that activates your immune mechanism. So primary management is to stay away from those allergens (you should know about that). And if severe reaction proceeds then consult a Pulmonologist.

Nops it’s not same as COPD . COPD is caused by long term exposure to smoke (passive or active).If you can avoid the allergen it might subside wd time and can get cured. So don’t worry. Continue your medications and avoid the allergen if you can!!
