Allergic Cough
I have allergic mild cough due to which I cough throughout the day (but its dry and mild). I have been coughing for 2month before I got this diagnosis.
My question is - how long will Odimont-FX take to work? Its been 5 days my cough has 50% improvement only.

So 50% improvement with 4-5 days of the combination medicine is a good response no doubt.
I would like to tell you to observe the cough, is it more when you lie down at night, is it more after meals, also do you eat spicy and oily food?
So this can basically indicate reflux pharyngitis. Also please observe any change in your voice.
Watch for habits like late meal consumption at night, no gap between dinner and sleeping time. All these habits can aggravate such type of cough.
So I would also advise you to make few lifestyle modifications along with having that medicine.
Have early meals, keep a gap of 3 hrs min between your dinner time and sleep time, consume plenty of fluids, avoid spicy and oily food.

A 50% improvement in 5 days is a good response, so continue as advised. If symptoms persist beyond 3–4 weeks or worsen, a review is needed to rule out other causes.

Usually cough takes time to reduce, especially dry cough. If u still have aggravations or symptoms persist, get a chest x ray done. Consume luke warm water and avoid cold spaces, as it can aggravate it
