Abscess or pimple in public area
Hello doc, I am having a abscess or pimple growth I don't know around my public area as attached in pic.its red and paining on touching. Can you please tell me will it heal automatically or I need to use some medication.

It’s not a cause for concern, its likely to be due to folliculitis and all you need to do is clean the area with a good antiseptic, avoid bursting it and take antibiotics with anti-inflammatory analgesic (to reduce redness, swelling and pain). If it happens again you should get your blood sugar levels tested It can leave a mark, you can talk to your doctor and opt for topical creams to reduce the pigmentation once it heals

Its an folliculitis most probably or maybe an ingrown hair which is common! Its reddish is colour which indicates it has inflammatory issues too!! It is usually due to staph group of bacterias nd usually harmless untill it has some pus point coming from it!

It's an furuncle ,a kind of abscess.apply warm water compress,fucidin ointment and cephalexin  oral antibiotic if necessary.For the pain take ibuprofen.
