Abscess near vagina
I got an abscess kind of a thing near my vagina. It used to pain a lot. But now it pains only when there's friction. Also, the swelling has decreased a lot. Very little pus comes out. I am worried that it is becoming a lump or a flesh. My medications were an antibiotic, painkiller, and pilogo/mupirocin. What to do now? It has been 10-11 days.

Hello ma’am, since the pain and swelling have reduced, it seems the abscess is healing, but complete drainage may not have occurred. Sometimes a small lump or hardness remains as part of the healing process, which usually softens over time. If pain, pus, or swelling increases again, please see a gynecologist/surgeon to check for Bartholin’s abscess or residual infection. I hope it helps you. If more questions are in your mind, you can reach me for a free detailed consultation on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine.
