Doctor,
I came across this video https://youtu.be/LZKsjX03Unw?si=ixt-M1TnygRfrTTr recommending Berberis vulgaris, Cantharis and Solidago for kidney stones:
Could doctor please clarify:
1. Do these medicines actually help a 4 mm ureteric stone pass or dissolve?
2. For Berberis vulgaris, is Mother Tincture, 30CH or 200CH more effective?
3. Is there any proven benefit to combining Berberis vulgaris + Cantharis + Solidago, or only Berberis vulgaris is sufficient in my case? Or take it along with SBL clearstone?
4. Can they be safely taken alongside treatment prescribed by a urologist? Or I stop allopathy medicine giving dry ejaculation and drowsiness.
Attached USG report and allopathy. Please respond in detail.
Thank you.

Taking homeopathic treatment from youtube and internet search is not going to help.

There's excellent homoeopathic medicine for ureteric stone.
You will get permanent cure with homoeopathic constitutional medicine because I had cure many similar cases.
Need more details for proper treatment and guidance.
A 4 mm ureteric stone can often pass spontaneously, but the management depends on its exact location, degree of obstruction, symptoms and kidney function.
Regarding Berberis vulgaris, Cantharis, Solidago or combinations of these remedies, I would not recommend selecting the remedy or potency simply based on the size of the stone. A proper case assessment is needed before deciding on any homeopathic prescription.
Please don't stop the treatment prescribed by your urologist on your own, especially if it was prescribed to facilitate stone passage or control pain. If you are experiencing significant pain, fever, vomiting, reduced urine output or worsening symptoms, you should be reviewed promptly.
If you share the ultrasound/CT findings, particularly the exact location of the 4-mm stone, degree of hydronephrosis and any other findings, I can explain what they mean and what factors should be considered before deciding on the treatment approach.
A 4 mm ureteric stone can often pass naturally, and homeopathic treatment can be considered to support the process and relieve associated symptoms. Berberis vulgaris is commonly considered in urinary stone cases, but that does not mean it is indicated in every case. The choice of remedy, potency and dosage depends on the totality of symptoms and individual case. Similarly, combining multiple remedies should not be done routinely. You may continue the treatment prescribed by your urologist alongside homeopathy, while monitoring the stone with follow-up imaging.

For a 4 mm ureteric stone, the most important factors are its exact location, degree of obstruction, kidney function and symptoms. Size-wise, a 4 mm stone has a good possibility of passing spontaneously. The 2026 EAU guideline reports spontaneous passage in about 89% of

I would not choose Mother Tincture vs 30CH vs 200CH on the basis of stone size alone, nor would I recommend routinely combining Berberis + Cantharis + Solidago. In classical homeopathy, prescribing is based on the individual symptom totality rather than the diagnosis âkidney stoneâ alone.
Health Tips
Please do not stop the urologist's medicine on your own, especially because of drowsiness or âdry ejaculation.â Medicines such as tamsulosin/silodosin can cause ejaculation-related side effects, and the urologist can decide whether the medicine is still necessary, change the timing/dose, or use an alternative. Do not discontinue it without discussing this with them. You can discuss using a homeopathic medicine alongside the urologist's treatment if you wish, but I would not rely on it to prevent obstruction or replace follow-up imaging. Also, a stone does not usually need to be dissolved. Most 4 mm stones that pass do so by travelling through the ureter. True medical dissolution is mainly relevant to certain uric-acid stones, using urinary alkalinisation under medical supervision, rather than homeopathic medicines. Finally, if there is fever/chills, worsening or uncontrolled pain, vomiting, reduced urine, or worsening kidney function, this is not a situation for waiting on homeopathic treatment and requires prompt urological assessment

Without proper evaluation and detailed case history it is not possible to tell the prognosis of renal calculus and the mentioned medicines. Yes these medicines can be taken along with allopathic treatment but only after your case has been evaluated by an experienced homeopath
Homeopathy medicine helps with passing a stone through the urethra. Don’t take medicines on your own. A proper clinical assessment by a qualified homeopathy physician is necessary. Each person’s medicine may differ depending on their symptoms and individual case.

1.yes they help in dissolving or passing out . Homoeopathic medicines follow natures course so it will break the stone into smaller pieces and help the body to flush it out in urine .
2. Mother tincture is more effective
3. You can either take these three medicines together or Sbl clear stone
4. Yes they can be safely taken along with the medicines prescribed by your urologist
For a 4 mm ureteric stone, spontaneous passage is often possible, depending mainly on its location and degree of obstruction. It need a detailed case taking and evaluation to prescribe a medicine and decide the potency. If a medicine is causing dry ejaculation or drowsiness, discuss changing it

Regarding your questions:
**1. Can Berberis vulgaris, Cantharis or Solidago dissolve or help pass a 4 mm ureteric stone?**
A 4 mm ureteric stone has a reasonable possibility of passing spontaneously, particularly depending on its **exact location in the ureter**.
**2. Which Berberis vulgaris preparation is more effective â Mother Tincture, 30CH or 200CH?**
The appropriate prescription should be determined after considering your **complete symptom picture, stone location, urinary symptoms and medical history**, rather than selecting a potency based only on the size of the stone. We strongly advise against self-selecting or repeatedly changing potencies.
**3. Should Berberis vulgaris, Cantharis and Solidago be taken together? What about SBL Clearstone?**
Similarly, we would not recommend adding **SBL Clearstone or multiple homeopathic preparations simultaneously without professional evaluation**. More medicines do not necessarily mean better results, and the ingredients of any combination product should be reviewed before it is used along with other medication.
**4. Can homeopathic medicines be taken along with the medicines prescribed by your urologist?**
Please **do not stop or discontinue your urologist's prescribed medication on your own**. The medicines prescribed for ureteric stones may have specific purposes, such as controlling pain, reducing symptoms or facilitating stone passage, depending on your individual condition.
**Most importantly, the size of the stone alone does not determine the treatment plan.** Its location, degree of obstruction, kidney function, urinary infection, pain severity and clinical symptoms are all important factors. Appropriate follow-up imaging or examination may also be required to confirm that the stone has passed and that there is no continuing obstruction.
At **Unicare Homeopathy**, we believe treatment should be individualized rather than based solely on a medicine mentioned in a video. After reviewing your **USG report, current prescription and complete clinical history**, We can advise you regarding the appropriate and safe course of management, while ensuring that necessary urological care is not interrupted.

Coming to your questions
1homeopathic medicines are very good for stones.
2 Berberis vulgaris MT is very good if prescribed just based on diagnosis,if other symptoms pain ,severity all etc are the same as Berberis therapeutic then higher potency works well.
3proven benefits of combining medicines and single dose medicine both co exist.Ultumate decision maker is your homeopath and the exact scenario.
4if allopathy medicine for 4mm stone is giving you other health issues then better stop because homeopathy alone can take care of 4mm stone using alongside is also not a problem though.
