Visited Dr. Adil Sadiq (Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon) For Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery(CABG)
Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
Patient name Saraswathi V
Admission date 02-Sep-21
My mother aged 71 yrs went for consultation with Dr Sreekanth Shetty (at Sakra hospital) due to severe headache. He advised ECHO/TMT and suggested angiogram based on TMT report.
Basis angiogram report, he guided us to see Dr Adil.
Dr Adil very clearly explained the angiogram report and suggested the minimally invasive bypass surgery. While he detailed the process and the importance of surgery, we had our apprehensions and consulted Dr Devi Shetty from Narayana Hrudayala, Dr Dayananda from manipal hospitals and few more doctors known to us. All of them mentioned that it's required to do the bypass surgery.
We realized the importance to get the surgery done but unsure who is the best to perform this surgery. Looking at the online reviews, we felt Dr Adil is the expert surgeon for this type of LIS CABG surgery. We were more convinced after he spoke to my mother when we went for re-consultation. He reassured my mother the importance of surgery and gave us all the required confidence.
The admission process was very smooth at Sakra world hospital. The admission desk gave us the room and the nursing staff have done all the required tests. That evening Dr Adil met us and based on reports he recommended the Surgery next day morning. He even patiently took calls in the night from my sister residing in USA who is worried about the risk of surgery.
The next day the Surgery took around 6.5 hours. Around 7 PM in evening, outside OT, Dr Adil have spoken to us and updated the surgery outcome. He mentioned the long procedure is due to finding the right vein for replacement. He could not compromise on the quality of vein and had to try for the best vein.
Such a dedication, patience and focus to do the very best are qualities of very few people. Dr Adil excels even of those few people.
I got to know he performs 2 or sometimes 3 surgeries in a day and often to not get to have food on time. With such great expertise and busy schedule, still he is very much available, humble and have a very cool demeanour.
GOD should give more such people to the society.
The next 3-4 days, the nurses in the ICU and the room have taken excellent care of my mother and even after such a major surgery, my mother got discharged on 4th day of surgery.
Post the discharge, in the next weeks, Dr Adil regularly monitored the reports(sugar, bp, pulse etc) that we used to post on his whatsapp every day. Also the other staff from Adil’s team Libin have been on regular touch with whatsapp for wound recovery. This is not any special service to us and this is a process they do for all their patients and assist them for faster recovery.
Dr Sreekanth has done the right diagnosis on the spot and we were lucky to have visited him at right time. It was his quick and deep analysis into family history, TMT report and the angiogram that caught the problem before it could have been fatal.
The entire team of Dr Adil ( Dr Pervez, Dr Indira ) and the nursing staff were quite helpful and very caring. The nursing staff in ICU took excellent care throughout the day and night. One of the Doctor have also gave a unit of blood as the blood group was rare and not an easily available one. Last but not the least Tarangini who is the co-ordinator for Dr Adil has very well organised and made the entire duration very easy and smooth for us. It was like we checked in to star hotel, got the process done successfully and checked out.
Thank you for the coordination, dedication and professionalism of all the doctors, nurses and staff members. All of you should take great pride in the service you provide.

Please don't go to him for any surgeries **** ******** ******** ** **** ******** *** ****** *************** He is not accommodating to patients when its not going his way. My father underwent a follow up surgery of a diabetic foot condition on the index toe amputation. He did review the foot condition and scheduled a free flap surgery 3 weeks after toe amputation. 15th Nov 2022 he did the 6 hour long free flap surgery ( left thigh muscle with 30 stitches closure ) to cluse the toe amputation. He discharged him after 5 days of supervision.
Later, the first follow-up visit he was shocked to see the wound ** ** *** ******** ******* Eventually he asked to keep coming for dressing while no one was documenting it ***** * ***** ******* ** * ***** ** ****** ( expected from hospital which has good standards ). Not a single until we demanded was the visits documented. That was not it , I wanted to speak with the management about how understaffed the team was which was making it difficult for the doctor to always communicate with us. This the doctor mis understood and started speaking with zero empathy and in an un respectable language : quoting the incident " which team or senior doctor attends to patients to people like you who come through insurance , no other department does this. I said you don't have people to talk or explain like other teams hence I am asking you what are you doing and what is happening.
He is like you dad's condition is not letting wound heal ( diabetic & compromised blood supply to the feet ), which he was aware of and yet suggested a 6 hour long complicated free flap surgery. *** **** ** **** ******* ********* *** ****** ********* *** *** ******** * ******* ** **** ******* ***** **** ** ******** *** *********** ******* ***** ***. He spoke rudely to my mother when she said that we have come to you as you are the professional person to which he raised his voice and asked her not to talk in a derogatory way. "

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
My Father (Shiva Shankar Putta) 56 years old, was a known case with a history of (Severe mitral valve prolapse) has consulted various hospitals over the past few years like Care Hyderabad, Apollo Hyderabad and was under medication. When the COVID 2nd wave ended and when things were settling everywhere my Dad consulted Apollo Hyderabad as a regular follow-up. That is when the Dr. Vijay Dikshith Senior Cardiovascular Surgeon who was taking care of my dad case told us that he needs to go through a surgery, and it need to be done as soon as possible likely in 2-3 months. We all got shocked and went through different kinds of panic situations. The reason being, we lost one of our father’s younger brother couple of years back due to cardiac arrest. Like everyone we had apprehension. We then checked with various and different doctors both family and outside hospitals. We even had to change the cities and check with different relatives, friends & colleagues for doctors ‘references to get the correct information. One fine day we met Dr. Adil Sir at SAKRA Hospital, Bangalore after getting reference from a know friend. During the first consultation doctor has understood my dad current situation and he clearly and patiently explained everything starting from my dad’s current problem, his severity level and what need to be done next and how it will be done, difference between open heart surgery and MICS which one would be better and the most important the recovery time. This is all to educate us and not to create more panickness or fear. He has also giving trust and confidence to my Dad in a way that after coming out from hospital my dad got a lot of strength and confidence in the doctor and his fears also got reduced a lot. On the same day we met Tarangini who is the coordinator for Dr. Adil sir, also patiently explained the package details, the necessary decisions that we need to make, pre-hospitalization test and all the other required details.
Once we are back to home, we thought through it and enquired about the hospital, Dr. Adil Sir also about MICS. We got a very positive feedback about all. We have also realized the importance of the surgery and thanks to Dr. Adil sir for explaining each & every aspect very clearly it has helped us a lot in understanding what we need to do and act soon which we did not get earlier from other doctors.
We then decided to go for surgery with the same doctor. We contacted Tarangini for the surgery dates, pre-tests and steps that we need to complete before admission. We had to check for blood donors as the hospital was not having enough units of blood that was required. Thanks to Kumar and Shivam Siri for donating the blood and helping us on time.
We consulted Dr. Balasubramanya, to get the dental checkup done which is one of the pre-requisites before the surgery. The doctor over here has also explained the problems that can cause because of the infection in the teeth and during the surgery. He has explained us the process of removing the infection from the teeth and also got confirmation from Dr.Adil sir right in front of us. Thanks to Dr. Balasubramanya and his entire staff for treating my dad.
After completing all the required tests and process on 13th Oct 2021 my dad got admitted as we have planned to get the surgery done on 14th Oct 2021. On the date of admission hospital staff made the admission process very smoothly. The nursing staff has done various test. Dr. Parvez, Dr. Sunil came and gave more confidence before the surgery. Late night Dr. Adil sir has also come and gave an extra boost of confidence to my dad. The next day surgery took around 6 hours. We were continuously given updates during the surgery from the OT. Around 2:30 PM in the afternoon Dr. Adil sir called us and spoken to us and updated the surgery outcome outside the OT. As he mentioned during our initial visit and consultation, he has repaired the valve and he said nothing to be worried now. It was a great news to my entire family. My dad was then sifted to ICU and had to stay in ICU for 2 days. A big thanks to the doctors, nurses in the ICU who have taken excellent care of my Dad during his stay and sorry as we are not able to know the names to mention here. In ICU My dad was able to start walking and sitting on chair from the next day itself, it was a great advantage of MICS as mentioned by the doctor. After shifting to the ward, the nurses in the ward also took an excellent care of my dad. Special thanks to sister Anasuya for taking care of my dad when he was in the ward. We then got discharged on 19th Oct 2021.
During our stay in the hospital, we got to know even more about Dr. Adil. He performs 2 or sometimes 3 surgeries in a day, does consultations, visits patients who are in ICU and wards. I was thinking how he can be able to manage all of it. He is really a great individual and we are fortunate to meet and interact with him at the correct time. With such great expertise and busy schedule, he is still available, polite, humble and has a very cool attitude. All the doctors know how to reduce the worries and bring smile on the patience face.
Finally I would like to take the opportunity to express my sincere thanks to each and every one from the bottom of my heart and from my entire family starting from Dr. Adil sir, Dr.Parvez, Dr.Sunil, Dr.Sanjana, Dr.Caranz, Dr.Ajay Shetty and the entire team, Tarangini, Ananth, Management of Sakra World Hospital Bangalore and many others for helping us out, saving my dad and giving the happiness to my entire family.

Subject: Heartfelt Appreciation Letter
Kind Attn: Dr. Adil Sadiq
I am very happy for the experience I had at Sakra World Hospital, Bangalore. Please accept my appreciation for the excellent job of your Sakra World Hospital staff during my minimally invasive cardiac Surgery (MICS CABG). It was an enormous undertaking but went very smoothly and efficiently under your management.
** **** ***** ** *** ** *** **** ******** *** ***** ****** * **** **** ****
He explained very patiently all our questions and clarified all our doubts thereby giving us full confidence and hope in the minimal invasive surgery. Not only did I have a successful bypass surgery without any pain, but also his soft spoken, down to earth nature and kind self are some of the experiences for which I feel indebted for life.
Further, Dr. Sunil Kumar NK, gave me continuous inspiration and courage to stay positive throughout the stay.
The entire team of doctors, nurses and attendants were very helpful and extremely nice, friendly and smiling. They took excellent care throughout the day and night during my stay in the ICU and the room.
I would like to mention about one of your cafeteria cleaners called Rani. Her honesty touched my heart when she returned my daughter’s lost purse containing nearly Rs 45,000 and denied any tips for this gesture.
Thank you for the teamwork, dedication and energy of all the doctors, nurses and staff members. You and your hospital staff should take great pride in this accomplishment.
My sincere thank you to all the Sakra World Hospital members.
