Patient name Saraswathi V
Admission date 02-Sep-21
My mother aged 71 yrs went for consultation with Dr Sreekanth Shetty (at Sakra hospital) due to severe headache. He advised ECHO/TMT and suggested angiogram based on TMT report.
Basis angiogram report, he guided us to see Dr Adil.
Dr Adil very clearly explained the angiogram report and suggested the minimally invasive bypass surgery. While he detailed the process and the importance of surgery, we had our apprehensions and consulted Dr Devi Shetty from Narayana Hrudayala, Dr Dayananda from manipal hospitals and few more doctors known to us. All of them mentioned that it's required to do the bypass surgery.
We realized the importance to get the surgery done but unsure who is the best to perform this surgery. Looking at the online reviews, we felt Dr Adil is the expert surgeon for this type of LIS CABG surgery. We were more convinced after he spoke to my mother when we went for re-consultation. He reassured my mother the importance of surgery and gave us all the required confidence.
The admission process was very smooth at Sakra world hospital. The admission desk gave us the room and the nursing staff have done all the required tests. That evening Dr Adil met us and based on reports he recommended the Surgery next day morning. He even patiently took calls in the night from my sister residing in USA who is worried about the risk of surgery.
The next day the Surgery took around 6.5 hours. Around 7 PM in evening, outside OT, Dr Adil have spoken to us and updated the surgery outcome. He mentioned the long procedure is due to finding the right vein for replacement. He could not compromise on the quality of vein and had to try for the best vein.
Such a dedication, patience and focus to do the very best are qualities of very few people. Dr Adil excels even of those few people.
I got to know he performs 2 or sometimes 3 surgeries in a day and often to not get to have food on time. With such great expertise and busy schedule, still he is very much available, humble and have a very cool demeanour.
GOD should give more such people to the society.
The next 3-4 days, the nurses in the ICU and the room have taken excellent care of my mother and even after such a major surgery, my mother got discharged on 4th day of surgery.
Post the discharge, in the next weeks, Dr Adil regularly monitored the reports(sugar, bp, pulse etc) that we used to post on his whatsapp every day. Also the other staff from Adil’s team Libin have been on regular touch with whatsapp for wound recovery. This is not any special service to us and this is a process they do for all their patients and assist them for faster recovery.
Dr Sreekanth has done the right diagnosis on the spot and we were lucky to have visited him at right time. It was his quick and deep analysis into family history, TMT report and the angiogram that caught the problem before it could have been fatal.
The entire team of Dr Adil ( Dr Pervez, Dr Indira ) and the nursing staff were quite helpful and very caring. The nursing staff in ICU took excellent care throughout the day and night. One of the Doctor have also gave a unit of blood as the blood group was rare and not an easily available one. Last but not the least Tarangini who is the co-ordinator for Dr Adil has very well organised and made the entire duration very easy and smooth for us. It was like we checked in to star hotel, got the process done successfully and checked out.
Thank you for the coordination, dedication and professionalism of all the doctors, nurses and staff members. All of you should take great pride in the service you provide.

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
My Father (Shiva Shankar Putta) 56 years old, was a known case with a history of (Severe mitral valve prolapse) has consulted various hospitals over the past few years like Care Hyderabad, Apollo Hyderabad and was under medication. When the COVID 2nd wave ended and when things were settling everywhere my Dad consulted Apollo Hyderabad as a regular follow-up. That is when the Dr. Vijay Dikshith Senior Cardiovascular Surgeon who was taking care of my dad case told us that he needs to go through a surgery, and it need to be done as soon as possible likely in 2-3 months. We all got shocked and went through different kinds of panic situations. The reason being, we lost one of our father’s younger brother couple of years back due to cardiac arrest. Like everyone we had apprehension. We then checked with various and different doctors both family and outside hospitals. We even had to change the cities and check with different relatives, friends & colleagues for doctors ‘references to get the correct information. One fine day we met Dr. Adil Sir at SAKRA Hospital, Bangalore after getting reference from a know friend. During the first consultation doctor has understood my dad current situation and he clearly and patiently explained everything starting from my dad’s current problem, his severity level and what need to be done next and how it will be done, difference between open heart surgery and MICS which one would be better and the most important the recovery time. This is all to educate us and not to create more panickness or fear. He has also giving trust and confidence to my Dad in a way that after coming out from hospital my dad got a lot of strength and confidence in the doctor and his fears also got reduced a lot. On the same day we met Tarangini who is the coordinator for Dr. Adil sir, also patiently explained the package details, the necessary decisions that we need to make, pre-hospitalization test and all the other required details.
Once we are back to home, we thought through it and enquired about the hospital, Dr. Adil Sir also about MICS. We got a very positive feedback about all. We have also realized the importance of the surgery and thanks to Dr. Adil sir for explaining each & every aspect very clearly it has helped us a lot in understanding what we need to do and act soon which we did not get earlier from other doctors.
We then decided to go for surgery with the same doctor. We contacted Tarangini for the surgery dates, pre-tests and steps that we need to complete before admission. We had to check for blood donors as the hospital was not having enough units of blood that was required. Thanks to Kumar and Shivam Siri for donating the blood and helping us on time.
We consulted Dr. Balasubramanya, to get the dental checkup done which is one of the pre-requisites before the surgery. The doctor over here has also explained the problems that can cause because of the infection in the teeth and during the surgery. He has explained us the process of removing the infection from the teeth and also got confirmation from Dr.Adil sir right in front of us. Thanks to Dr. Balasubramanya and his entire staff for treating my dad.
After completing all the required tests and process on 13th Oct 2021 my dad got admitted as we have planned to get the surgery done on 14th Oct 2021. On the date of admission hospital staff made the admission process very smoothly. The nursing staff has done various test. Dr. Parvez, Dr. Sunil came and gave more confidence before the surgery. Late night Dr. Adil sir has also come and gave an extra boost of confidence to my dad. The next day surgery took around 6 hours. We were continuously given updates during the surgery from the OT. Around 2:30 PM in the afternoon Dr. Adil sir called us and spoken to us and updated the surgery outcome outside the OT. As he mentioned during our initial visit and consultation, he has repaired the valve and he said nothing to be worried now. It was a great news to my entire family. My dad was then sifted to ICU and had to stay in ICU for 2 days. A big thanks to the doctors, nurses in the ICU who have taken excellent care of my Dad during his stay and sorry as we are not able to know the names to mention here. In ICU My dad was able to start walking and sitting on chair from the next day itself, it was a great advantage of MICS as mentioned by the doctor. After shifting to the ward, the nurses in the ward also took an excellent care of my dad. Special thanks to sister Anasuya for taking care of my dad when he was in the ward. We then got discharged on 19th Oct 2021.
During our stay in the hospital, we got to know even more about Dr. Adil. He performs 2 or sometimes 3 surgeries in a day, does consultations, visits patients who are in ICU and wards. I was thinking how he can be able to manage all of it. He is really a great individual and we are fortunate to meet and interact with him at the correct time. With such great expertise and busy schedule, he is still available, polite, humble and has a very cool attitude. All the doctors know how to reduce the worries and bring smile on the patience face.
Finally I would like to take the opportunity to express my sincere thanks to each and every one from the bottom of my heart and from my entire family starting from Dr. Adil sir, Dr.Parvez, Dr.Sunil, Dr.Sanjana, Dr.Caranz, Dr.Ajay Shetty and the entire team, Tarangini, Ananth, Management of Sakra World Hospital Bangalore and many others for helping us out, saving my dad and giving the happiness to my entire family.

Subject: Heartfelt Appreciation Letter
Kind Attn: Dr. Adil Sadiq
I am very happy for the experience I had at Sakra World Hospital, Bangalore. Please accept my appreciation for the excellent job of your Sakra World Hospital staff during my minimally invasive cardiac Surgery (MICS CABG). It was an enormous undertaking but went very smoothly and efficiently under your management.

He explained very patiently all our questions and clarified all our doubts thereby giving us full confidence and hope in the minimal invasive surgery. Not only did I have a successful bypass surgery without any pain, but also his soft spoken, down to earth nature and kind self are some of the experiences for which I feel indebted for life.
Further, Dr. Sunil Kumar NK, gave me continuous inspiration and courage to stay positive throughout the stay.
The entire team of doctors, nurses and attendants were very helpful and extremely nice, friendly and smiling. They took excellent care throughout the day and night during my stay in the ICU and the room.
I would like to mention about one of your cafeteria cleaners called Rani. Her honesty touched my heart when she returned my daughter’s lost purse containing nearly Rs 45,000 and denied any tips for this gesture.
Thank you for the teamwork, dedication and energy of all the doctors, nurses and staff members. You and your hospital staff should take great pride in this accomplishment.
My sincere thank you to all the Sakra World Hospital members.

Both my parents are under Dr.Deepak Krishnamurthy's care since the last two years. Their complicated health condition (HTN, AF, PAH, etc) which several other doctors couldn't resolve he resolved with utmost dedication, great expertise, warmth care and constant feedback. We visit him frequently (for regular checks) and at times he even suggests to teleconsult to avoid us the inconvenience of traveling.
He combines medical care with scientific temperament and gradually reduced the number of medications which other doctors had prescribed, to almost half and my parents are doing well under his treatment.
Many nouveau riche patients are impatient (have seen their behavior personally) and treat the medical fraternity as though they are at their beck and call and do not understand medical treatment in the modern age which comprises a doctor's expert analysis of test reports and his subsequent guidance, they expect lengthy/protracted consultation with the doctor. Dr.Deepak does not spend more time than necessary, he is thorough in his analysis and very thoughtful in his treatment of a complicated sitaution. He considers all the pros and cons of the patient's treatment and gives perfect guidance. Not only have my parents' health improved over a period of two years with his medical supervision, intervention and medication he has also performed stenting to one of them. He also took a call for a non invasive procedure on my parent's spinal fracture which was under another department.
Extremely happy with him and we are lucky to have such a highly experienced, dedicated, talented, skilled and caring doctor in Bangalore.

We got in touch with Dr. Adil Sadiq for my mother in law 's bypass grafting. She is 75 yrs old with diabetes and high cholesterol levels. She was having constant chest pain and shortness of breath even with minimum activity due to blocks in multiple coronary arteries. We don't know him personally but when we spoke to him, he appeared extremely positive about her outcome. We felt immediate relief when he confidently said she will be walking in the ward 2 days after bypass. The bypass lasted 8 hours, he came out after that, appeared extremely calm. He said all arteries appeared fine and bypass was a success. He simply said, it was Gods grace and thanked us for our trust in him.
What struck us at that moment was his humility, his quiet confidence and extraordinary technical ability which he brushed off as God's grace.
Needless to say, my mother in law is doing great, walked the wards as he said, got discharged 5 days postop. Sakra is a fantastic hospital, all nurses, cardio thoracic team and anesthesiologist Dr. Sunil are fantastic. No words to describe their professionalism. We placed full faith in them and they in turn took best care of our patient.
We wish Dr. Adil all the best. He is comparable with the best of best in the industry. Anybody with any doubts regarding his capability of doing bypass or where he stands in comparison with other cardio thoracic surgeons in Bangalore or anywhere in the world for that matter, there is no need to look further. You are in extremely safe hands

I got my father treated by Dr. Adil Sadiq for CABG in the month of March. I am writing this review when everything has been going great for 2 months. I had gotten consultancy done by multiple doctors in Bangalore including Narayana, Manipal and Apollo for my father. While some of the doctors were good at other places they were no comparison with Dr. Adil. Some of the highlights1. Other doctors were prescribing the treatment which they can do and not the treatment which was the best.2. When Inquired about Minimum invasive surgery, it was available in a very limited number of hospitals and robotic assisted surgery for 3 bypass was practically not available anywhere else. 3. Keeping the technicalities aside, just the personal presence of Dr. Sadiq was very comforting. He explains the situation and options very well and eludes a confidence that is rare. 4. The review will be incomplete without praising the great team at Sakra for cardiovascular surgery especially Dr. Rowena. She went over and above in helping my father during the recovery phase, constantly replying to our trivial queries and passing minute instructions also on Whatsapp. Also special credit to OT and ICU staff and nurses for great care. 5. I found the overall cost for the procedure justified for the care which was provided. Once someone gets admitted everything is being taken care of by the hospitals from getting all tests conducted to all coordination and meals. Overall I am very satisfied with my decision to get surgery done here. For other people facing a similar situation, just make sure that you get one consultation done with Dr. Sadiq. If he is not confident he will inform you but if he recommends Robotic assisted surgery, you can trust him blindly* ** ** *** **** ** *** ***** *** **** ** *** **** ******** *** **** **** ** *** ** *********

I came to the Cardiology department of Sakra World Hospital with the complaint of having a positive TMT from another hospital. I initially met Dr. Sreekant Shetty, who, on further medical diagnosis, suggested a bypass and directed me to Dr. Adil Sadiq. There was a little wait to meet him, but the very first sight was enough to infuse faith and confidence. He explained to me the criticality of my condition with all the three cardiac arteries having blocks of varying degrees. He also explained to me what are the consequences of both undergoing and not undergoing a CABG in clear terms. He was very friendly and offered all help and readily gave his personal mobile number. After two days I contacted him and coveyed my decision to undergo the bypass surgery. He gave me my preferred date and advised to get admitted in the hospital a day before. I did so and my surgery went on well inthe afternoon of 18th Dec. 2019. Dr. Adil Sadiq visited me before the operation and gave me courage to face the event. I am very much satisfied with the treatment and behaviour of his entire team in the hospital. I am now convalescing at home and am very well as of now. Tomorrow is my first review date and happily look forward to going back to the normal life within a short period. I am extremely happy and confident to recommend him to any one required to undergo a cardiovascular surgery.
I would like to extend special thanks to the nursing staff of the hospital for their exemplary care during post surgery period.

I Prema M Nair have been suffering from acute pain in my right leg for many years, progressively worsening the situation until I was incapacitated to walk straight without assistance. I have been under ayurvedic treatment for last 1 year in various ayurvedic hospitals. We (the family members) met Dr Chandrashekar in December 2019 and the doctor had recommended for surgery, but we were not ready at that time. Subsequently, we had enquired about the surgery with other patients who had undergone surgery and also on the internet and decided to have the surgery. Unfortunately, due to COVID19 pandemic, we postponed our decision. As the situation worsened further we met Dr Chandrashekar at his clinic on the first week of October for consultation. After examining my condition, he suggested going for immediate surgery. Accordingly, I got admitted at Sakra World Hospital on the 9th of October after a COVID test. MRI and X-Ray investigation revealed more problems with my right hip and doctor suggested to go ahead with hip replacement surgery rather than knee replacement surgery. We were convinced by doctors explanation and gave consent for hip replacement surgery. On 10th October 2020, the surgery was successfully done. After the surgery, I was kept in post-operative ward for a while and thereafter shifted to ICU where I was well attended by doctors and the support staff. On 11th I was shifted to the room for follow up and treatment. After the surgery, I stayed in the hospital for 7 days, where I received good care and attention.
We are extremely happy with the service provided at the hospital and particularly Dr Chandrshekhar and his team of doctors, physiotherapists, nursing staff etc.
On the 27th we came for the removal of the stitch. By the time the wound was completely healed and I was able to walk with a walker. We met the doctor again after 30 days on the 10th of November. I was able to walk without any walking aids and the doctor and we were extremely happy with the results.
Dr Chandrashekar possesses a charismatic character *** ** ** ********* ******* *** did my surgery professionally giving sincere care daily while I was in the hospital.
We thank Dr Chandrashekar and his team for the successful surgery and recovery.

I am glad and fortunate to get my father operated by Dr Adil S.
Let me share my experience with this hospital, and doctors.
First of all I myself undergone for SPINE surgery in July 2022 for cyst removal in my L4-L5 by Dr Satish Ruderappa. Me and my family were very scared but he and his team explained about the plan and it went as per he told and I am perfect now.
Now come down to my father treatment, he is 70 year old having sugar for last 25 years and hypertension for 20 years.
He has brain stroke in 2009 with effect on vocal system and his right portion which is weak.
He developed the heart issue 2 Yrs back . At that time his heart working was 40% and looks minor blockage , hence doctor in my native asked to continue with medicine until face any issue in future.
He started to develop the same issue of breathing and chest hardness 6 months back. I brought him here from native and consulted to Dr Srikanth Shetty with all details. He suggested to go for Angiogram but instructed some tests before.
Through tests we got to know he has started to develop kidney issue as well because creatinine level was 1.68.
Under his supervision and Dr. Sushma Rani instructions we went for Angiogram and found that his 2 left side arteries are blocked by 80-90% .
Dr Shetty, also suggested that it is not good for him to go for angioplasty due to his long history of sugar/hypertension. He suggested to go for bypass surgery but told that it is risky as well because of his past stroke and now kidney issue. He recommended to meet Dr Sushma for a Kidney issue and afterward to Dr Adil and keep to consult me. We were really scared from surgery because of his so many existing issues the things are complex.
We met Dr Sushma and after assessment she told to get the surgery done even though with risk.
At last we met Dr. Adil and he explained everything very well in the sense, what is current status, how it will proceed if don't do it and how risky it is to operate and what are all the consequences. Moreover, any of these doctor did not scared us to do the things in hurry though recommended to go for it.
After talking to Dr Adil we were very much convinced and assured that whatever will they do, it will be best.
After 1.5 months later he did the Robotics CABG surgery. It took roughly 8Hrs and Dr. did not have the lunch since got out of OT around 6PM.
My father was there in ICU for few days and afterwards in normal ward for 3 days.
Now it is over 3 months and he is doing well.
We are glad that we get it done here as everything gone as Dr. has explained.
Thank you very much Dr. Shetty and Dr Adil and other team of doctors.
Thank to Ms. Taringini for her all the explanation and required support and getting consultation appointment's .
Overall, it was very good experience and I will strongly recommend to go for Sakara and its cardiology department in cases of similar requirements.
Thanks and Regards,
