Consulted Dr. Manjunath M (Neurologist) for Neurological Problems

I took my father to manipal hospital in the year 2018. My father was a Craniopharyngioma(Brain Tumor) exsicion patient since 2005. Till 2017 my father was treated by other neurologist in some other reputed hospital. In the year 2018 his condition got worse. He had 90 percent loss of memory and mobility issues. The doctor from the other reputed hospital couldn't identify the root cause. We had no hopes of my father survival. At last we went to manipal hospital. Luckily we chose Dr Manjunath. I think he is God for us. He went through the patient past history. He patiently treated my father. Of course he had to start from scratch with his medications. My father was terminally ill. We slowly got little hopes of his survival. The severity of the illness was to such an extent, he was hospitalized four times in the span of 6 months. It's very challenging to retrieve mobility and trust me doctor successfully retrieved both mobility and 90 percent lost memory. Doctor used to visit even on sundays. He is such an amazing doctor. He listen to the events occurred very carefully. Retrieving 90 percent memory is not a joke at the age of 65. It's challenging and yes the doctor did it. Doctor tried to find the root cause in every way, from doing all kinds of tests to sending samples to nimhans hospital (for spl tests). Hats off to you sir. My father is an Rtd Police officer. He is doing well since 2018. My father is having regular consultation with the doctor. I highly recommend doctor for any neurological issues. Writing the reviews from Ireland.
Consulted Dr. Neha Mishra
Sometime really we can feel Doctors are just next to God. I’m not a very much feedback writing person. Still I would like to share my experience of the most difficult journey of my life . My wife was seven months pregnant and she was detected Corona positive. I would like to thank God that She came under the treatment of Dr Neha. Somehow I have managed a bed in Manipal and the Treatment started. I am really thankful to Dr. Neha, she shared her personal number and being so busy in the pandemic situation she always replied all my concerns and doubts. I was really under pressure coz the case was too critical and question was of two life and One was growing inside. Dr. Neha more than medicine always inject positivity and confidence into my wife and I think that worked most in her case. After some days she got discharged and now we are blessed with a baby boy. I must say both my wife and my child blessed with such a nice doctor like Dr Neha. Mam,thanks is not enough for all your help, it is much more than that what you did for us.

Consulted Dr. Shalina Ray (ENT/ Otorhinolaryngologist) for EaracheEar Wax (Cerumen) Removal

Visited Manipal hospital for ear pain and consulted Dr. Shalini who was available.
Doctor is not approachable nor friendly, does not explain the issue or medications prescribed. She said that there is debri in the ear and needs to be removed. During the procedure, Dr was snapping at the nurse to get some instruments, commenting that there is so much debri. All this really made me panic and I couldnt tolerate the pain during the procedure. Dr could have been more calm, made patients feel more relaxed and put patients at ease while doing the procedure. When I moved and couldn't stay still because of the pain, she was rude, stopped the procedure and said to come after a week to remove the rest of the debri. The medicines to be taken were explained by the nurse, this should have explained by the doctor. * **** ****** *** ********* **** *** **** *** ********* *** * ********* *********** *** *** ********** *** *** ********* ***** ******* *** *** ********** *** ****** * *** ** *** ********** *** **** ** ***** **** *** ** *** **** ****** *** ********* *** ****** ********** ***** ** *** ******
Consulted Dr. Ramesh S. (Internal Medicine)
Note:Â This doctor is no longer practicing at Manipal Hospital
I am concerned with acute abdominal problems from past few months and I visited Manipal seeking for an expert consultation. Since it is a renowned hospital, I had more expectations regarding the treatment. *** ****** *** ***** But due to crowd or what I am not sure, he didn't give relevant time to explain the condition. He suspected gastric as a major cause and suggested for Endoscopy. He also prescribed some medications assuring fast recovery. But the worst part was that the assistant was very careless. When I asked about the result of reports, I was not given any proper response. I had some confusion in the volume of medicine intake, they were so rude and did not help me at this. I was deeply disheartened. I have nearly spent 15 k for two consultations and in return I didn't even receive a proper response. That too it was really a very big amount for me to afford. So I continued my treatment in a different hospital where I came to know that I am having intestinal ailments. So from my perspective, the consultation was not worth and I don't want to recommend anyone here.
Consulted Dr. Pankaj Singhai (Internal Medicine) for Gastric troublesFever Treatment
Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
I’ve been consulting Dr. Pankaj since 7 years now and trust me I’ve never looked back to any other GP since then. Whenever I’ve a condition where I’m unwell mostly due to fever and gastric or any other ailment then I run to him and trust me when I walk out from chamber I’m calm, cool and composed. It’s just not about his accurate analysis and medication, it is also about the confidence he puts in my head to make sure I’m getting the right treatment. Also he tells a lot about managing small episodes of gastric and fever at home by taking right medicines and not to run hospital each and every time which is highly recommended. A charming and friendly person who doesn’t recommend unnecessary tests and medicines but a lot of trust to make sure you’ll be treated right . Took a long time to finally write a valid review but longer the better . I highly recommend him and make sure your appointments are booked well in advance to avoid longer waiting period at Manipal .
Consulted Dr. Sridhara G (Cardiologist)
I do not have enough words to thank Dr Sridhar G . People are not wrong when they say doctors are next to god.
Last 4 months i was running with series of tests and visits to different doctors including specialists. In addition got my wrong chest X ray report from one of the reputed lab. I was terrified. and was under lot of stress. Was taking all sorts of medicines.
Luckily before going for any procedure, i happen to meet Dr Sridhar.
After talking to him half my stress vanished (though i had symptoms on upper stomach n left chest /ribs). He prescribed only one safest medicine and just few day i am completely normal.
He is the best doctor i saw in my last almost 50 years. Even after full busy day, the way he was talking n checking every small details from all the reports with so much patience, calm, relaxed mood and encouraging words. It was such a pleasure to meet such doctor.
I Thank him so so much for everything.
This is just a small appreciation note with regards.
Consulted Dr. Neha Mishra
I am grateful to Dr. Neha Mishra for giving me a new lease of life. I was under severe mental stress after myself, my wife and my children tested positive.**** **** ** *** **** ****** * **** **** **** ****** ** ** ***** your illness will disappear when you speak to her .
When the infection was more, she immediately called me and told to get admitted and given 100% assurance she will take care of me and will discharge in 4-5 days and she did as committed. She was taking care and monitoring the patients so closely and committed towards her work.
All my family members got treated by her without any problems, and Dr. Neha used to call them even when I was admitted in the hospital.
And When I was in the hospital, I have noticed she is the only doctor who comes to the patient on time, not even 5 min late.
Dr. Neha always gives positive response, and she does not prescribe unnecessary medicines.
Dr. Neha even after discharging she used to reply if we had any doubts , she given her personnel number and never used to get annoyed with the patients.
we all family member thank from our bottom of our heart to Dr. Neha , we will never forget her services given to us.
We wish her all the very best though out her carrier and god give her full strength and good health always.
Thanks & Regards

The Doctor should have patience when it comes to interaction with patients in pain. He hardly shows any sense to answer the questions. I went for a kidney stone treatment to Manipal hospital. unfortunately it was a Sunday and he was the only doctor available. I was in pain hence went without any hesitation. but I was literally traumatized with his behaviour. he didn't even look at previous investigation or reports. just started shouting at me for know reason. for any questions asked, his response was rude. he immediately started scolding all the previous doctors and the treatment given by them. however, to my surprise he asked me to do the same set of tests and gave the same medicine that was given by others. Forced me to get admitted by making the situation alarming ******** * ****** *** * *** ** ****** I would only suggest to stay away from him ** *** **** ***** ** **** *** ******** ******* **** * ****** *** ** *** ***** ** ******* ********* ** **** my interaction was completely forgettable and I am never going back ** **** *******
Consulted Dr. Paritosh Pandey (Neurosurgeon)
Dr. Paritosh Pandey is a down to earth person. I don't have enough words to express his excellence. My wife has undergone a critical surgery which was perfectly handled by him with great care and responsibility. He never makes hurry with the session. He takes time to go through the reports, he keeps a track of medical history and assures the patient psychologically to be strong. He is very polite and empathetic. He explains the prognosis in a simpler way, saying nothing to worry about. When patient is in faint, this kind of support and assurance from the doctor's end will really enhance the mental calibre. He is one of the best doctors I have come across in my life time. I have recommended him to many as well. Here is my heartfelt thanks to him.
