I was suffering from spine and knee pain from last 5 years . I visited Apollo Hospital and Manipal hospital and consulted number do Doctor's for my pain. Apollo hospital suggested MRI and I took MRI frames and report to them but they suggested that I had an extra spine and gave some medicine. Infact I lost my eye sight for because of the medicine. The doctor at Apollo or Manipal were unable to identify the root cause of my spine and knee pain. They gave only pain killers which were ineffective in getting rid of the pain. Then I visited Allivate hospital and doctor there suggested costly injections. Which I took over a period of 6 months. Pain stopped for 3 months and then the same pain returned. Upon further consultation with the doctor their they suggested that they cannot guarantee the pain will not return and I need to continuously keep taking the injections every few months.
I was very depressed , when last option i went to cunnigham hospital and met with Dr.Ganesh Veerabhadriah. He saw my old MRI report and immediately identified the there was problem in L4 and L5 and directed me to get a MRI redone so as to ascertain the extent of damage in the spine .
After I brought the latest MRI report the confirmed slip disk and Lumber Spine issue. He suggested I'd the pain is intolerable then go for surgery or else it can be cured through medication .
Since the pain was intolerable and over a long period of time I requested for surgery. Doctor obliged and I underwent a L4 L5 micro .discectomy
After the surgery the pain was completely gone , I did have surgery pain for 3 days but constant pain in spine and knee was completely gone
I am forever grateful to the god first and dr.Ganesh next for diagnosing the injury and then curing it. For 5 years i suffered and only Dr. Ganesh was able to cure my disease and give me relief from the spine pain.
I highly recommend Dr.Ganesh name for any patient suffering from constant spine and knee disorders.
Visited Dr. Vivek Jawali (Cardiothoracic Surgeon) For Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery(CABG)
Happy with: Treatment satisfactionExplanation of the health issueValue for moneyDoctor friendliness
Dr VJ is an angel for us in human form. We visited him for CABG for my father after getting an angiogram done at a different hospital. It was a very complicated case as there were multiple blocks upto 95% on the left side of the heart and with other comorbidities. He looked through the history patiently, diagnosis was narrated in detail -the current condition and state of health of heart , treatment plan established and its impact & prognosis.
He was totally sure of the surgery being a success and gave us the hope we really needed to hang in there. His expertise & perfection has resulted in good recovery and return to normalcy for my father.
Some might feel he is very brief/curt and not friendly in follow up visits post the initial discussion, as he is a man of few words, doesn't like being interrupted while he is talking and likes a certain decorum in his room. That's just an aspect of his personality and probably helps him focus on action more than words. But be rest assured that you are with the BEST and he will do all he can to help his patients.
We will be ever grateful to Dr VJ & his team.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Harish Puranik for his exceptional support and guidance for my ACL reconstruction surgery.I decided to consult him after reading consistently positive and excellent feedback from various patients on Practo, and I’m truly glad I made that choice. From my very first meeting, he greeted me with a warm smile and listened to all my concerns with ***** patience and attention. He clearly explained why the surgery was important to prevent further damage to my knee and reassured me that undergoing the procedure at a younger age would support a smoother and more complete recovery. His ability to explain complex medical details in a simple and understandable way gave me a lot of confidence. On the day of the surgery, he personally spoke to me beforehand, reassuring me that the entire team would take good care of me. During the procedure, he continued to communicate, keeping me calm and informed. He even showed me the extent of the ACL damage before reconstruction and the new ligament after the procedure, which helped me better understand the process.Dr. Harish Puranik is highly supportive, encouraging, and possesses ********* ********* *** experience. I am truly thankful for his care and dedication, which made a significant difference in my treatment and hopefully in recovery journey too.

I had frequent knee dislocation problems before and I also experienced doctors wrongly diagnosing my case. But the moment I consulted Dr. Raghu, I knew I was in right hands. He was extremely calm, professional and made the right judgement for my case. I underwent MPFL surgery- ligament reconstruction surgery and the doctor did the surgery perfectly and also the rehabilitation plan which included his team of physiotherapists went perfectly well and I recovered very quickly. His entire team - Meenu, Nithya etc were very professional and helpful. I am very grateful towards Dr. Raghu. I would definitely recommend him to other patients.

Visited Dr. Gopi Aniyathodiyil (Cardiologist)
Dr Gopi was highly recommended by a friend when my Dad had a heart attack, I am so thankful to have gone with the recommendation. Words fall short to describe his expertise in the field and skills/patience to handle senior citizens. All our questions and concerns were addressed in a way we understand. I will just say, have no second thoughts and stay calm and let Dr Gopi and his team take care of everything. My dad eventually went through a successful CABG under his care. Special mention to his team member and assistant Sunitha Ma'am who is very kind, understanding and top notch at what she does.

We waited for 2 hours to see the doctor and ended talking to his assistant doctor only. When asked, Dr . Sathish said his assistant is an experienced paediatric doctor. In that case I would take an appointment directly with his assistant doctor than wait so long for Dr Sathish. He did not even bother to physically examine my son. Instead made a 10 second appearance to the room quoting his assistant doctors are very good. ** *** *** ******* *** ** *********** **** ** ******** ***** ** ************ ** * *** **** **** ** ******* ** *** **** ** ***** ** ******* *** ******* ******* ** ******* ** *** ******** One would rather see a doctor who gives their complete time & attention. Also would like to add that his consultation office at Fortis hospital is very badly managed with the staff being clueless.
