Visited Dr. Girish Parmar (Endocrinologist) For Hyper / Hypo - Thyroidism Treatment
Hoped for better: Treatment satisfactionExplanation of the health issue
I have sub clinical hyperthyroidism ie normal T3 & T4 but very low TSH and have had low grade fever since 3 months. Came to see Dr Girish Parmar for this reason. On the recommendations of the doctor did an expensive thyroid scan (nodule in left thyroid) and an expensive blood test ****** *** ****** ****** ******* After all these tests, the doctor didn't discuss what the problem was, whether it could be resolved or not. Didn't discuss diet or lifestyle changes. Appeared not to have time.
Doc said I had hyperthyroidism based on the 1 report in September when T3 & T4 had gone up, not taking into account all the other tests to date and others for 5 years before. I tried to point this out, but doc would not listen and said he knew better.
The choice given to me was come back and see him again after 3 weeks * **** *** ******** ** ****** ** * ******** or he could prescribe medication for hyperthyroidism ****** * ******* **** ********* **** *** ***** ** *** **** *********** Very dissatisfied.
Visited Dr. Kedar Korde (Psychiatrist) For Respiratory ConditionsDiseases of the ChestBreathing Problems
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessWait time
I am 70+ with COPD Hypertension & Neck Skull pain. I visited Dr Kedar Kadre 6/7 times. He is a patient friendly **** Doctor undoubtedly. But today I had to suggest him that he should more concentrate on Physical Check Up of Patients rather than solely depending on Verbal Report by the Patient. A Septogenerian Hypertensive COPD Patient with Neck/Skull Pain should be first of all be Checked for the Blood Pressure and Heart & Lungs condition by Stetho in the first Place. And Medication or medical advise should include for his Cholesterol & Prostrate Protection. Only Tablets for B.P & Inhalers for COPD is never a Complete Protection for an Old Setogenerian Patient. Dr Kadre is so Sweet that he instantly agreed with me. Afterall I highly recommend all to Visit Dr Kedar Kodre for treatment. Patients should insist on Check Up too instead of remaining static. Afterall it is their health and life. I took my daughter and wife also to Dr Kedar Kodre. And I will visit him again for follow up treatments
Visited Dr. Suruchi Desai (Gynecologist) For Pre and Post Delivery Care
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
*** ******* ** *** ** *** ***** ** *** *** **** ******* **** **** **** She clearly loves her job and her patients. As soon as you meet her, you know you are in good hands. She is so warm and friendly that you feel like you’ve known her for years. Besides, it’s not hard to notice that she’s the top expert in her field and is highly experienced. Over the last couple of years, I’ve consulted many doctors and I’ve been quite dissatisfied with their approach or how they take their patients for granted. But Dr. Suruchi stands out as a doctor you can fully trust not only with her expertise, but to take decisions that are in your best interest (without forcing those decisions on you).
She has a motherly approach and really cares about the well being of her patients. She’s available and she’s there for you always. Her memory is incredible. I was surprised how she remembered me and my wife from a small consultation more than a year ago. She takes time to explain you everything in detail and you leave her room only when you’re fully satisfied.
I won’t be able share the specific details because of privacy concerns, but we switched to Dr. Suruchi just in time after consulting two of the most celebrated doctors in Mumbai (both of whom have delivered babies for some mega bollywood stars etc.), but I can safely say that it was the best decision we made. Dr. Suruchi is miles ahead of those doctors when it comes to professionalism, expertise and integrity.
Dr. Suruchi, thanks for all your help and may God bless you. Please keep up the great work.
Visited Dr. Rajiv Bhagwat (Cardiologist) For Cardiac Procedure
Happy with: Explanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
My call to Dr Rajiv Bhagwat was an SOS after a local hospital gave up on my father soon after he suffered from cardiac arrest. I found Dr Bhagwat to be extremely professional, an expert in his field and very forthcoming with the information I needed to make good decisions. He was truly God sent and our hospital experience, both pre-and post-operation, courtesy Dr Bhagwat, ensured we were in safe hands.
A follow-up through angiography two weeks ago revealed my father’s heart had significantly recovered, all stents were functioning perfectly with no reoccurrence and a good heart function compared to an alarming 15 percent heart function just six months ago. We are extremely fortunate to find a gem of a doctor during a crucial phase of our lives and will continue to recommend Dr Bhagwat to colleagues, friends, and family.
