"It was an emergency task put on her by the production team of my film where as an actor I was to shrink in body weight so as to suit the character of an ailing monk.
Bina Chheda was my Dietician who scientifically guided me in the most organic manner possible to reduce my body weight from 73.6 kgs to 56.3 kgs in a span of three and a half months only. Ofcourse, as a good and responsible Dietician she did warn me of not going to extremes of reducing the body weight as it would harm my health later.
She did this with utmost care monitoring me throughout the process, ensuring my overall health to be stable always. She even brought me back to a healthy weight in a gradual process of proper diet after the film shoot.
It was a tough task put on her but I always felt safe following whatever she asked me to.

Basking in the pleasures and comforts of life post marriage and delivery of a child, I gradually started gaining weight which shot up to 85.7 kg (height 160 cm) and was never bothered to reduce my weight. My husband used to follow a diet plan given to him by her dietician Ms Bina Chheda, a renowned Registered Clinical Dietician.
I used to be amused by the way she had meticulously planned the diet in the most scientific way, explaining the exact amounts being translated from her most methodical scientific calculations of calories.
Seeing my husband lose weight with the help of such a thorough professional, I too decided to seek her guidance.

Dr Bina takes time to understand your daily routine and then gives to the appropriate advice and something which anyone can follow. With her it's not about the fancy food or new fads in the market. She makes minor adjustments in ur diet and helps the patient understand the importance of what they are eating and how it impacts their body. I highly recommend her counseling for anyone who is starting out fresh. I lost around 8-9 kgs after following her diet plan which didn't even look like a diet plan(beauty of her advice) to me. Kudos to Dr Bina!!!!
Dr. Beena is godsend. She has a very practical approach to losing weight and it's not about crazy dieting, it's about making eating healthier a lifestyle change. There are no crazy no-carb fads in her dieting approach and she also gives emphasis on exercise. For the first time I know losing weight is not only about losing far but also about building lean muscle mass. I've also learnt to give up things I've eaten for years out of habit and not necessity like putting groundnuts and coconut in all the food cooked and I can't tell the difference in taste at all. The best part is others in the house are losing weight with my diet.
