“I had been suffering from several health issues like hypothyroidism, anemia, fatigue, and obesity. My health parameters were quite poor until one of my relatives guided me to Dr. Mallika Kabra. From my very first telephonic conversation, I felt her friendliness, positivity, and warmth.
Dr. Mallika is full of affection and care. She asked me to get some tests done, and my health parameters were like a roller coaster. She patiently understood my lifestyle, diet habits, and daily routine before suggesting a personalized diet plan. Her approach was simple—100% organic food, slight changes in preparation methods, her own shared recipes, new food introductions, portion control, and supplements only where truly needed.
Within just 3 months, I noticed a big improvement in my health, including weight loss—achieved with only very moderate exercise but mainly by changing food habits and preparation. She ensured I got enough protein from plant-based sources (since I’m a strict vegetarian) and stressed staying hydrated. I also had stomach ulcers, where even a little chili would trigger me, but after just 15 days on her plan, I was able to eat capsicum, and now I can even tolerate a little green seedless chili.
During my Raksha Bandhan visit to my hometown, Mallika commented, ‘You will eat mithais!’ and surprisingly, despite enjoying little bit of sweets, I still managed to lose weight and even to lose 1–2 inches!
Above all, my overall health parameters improved. I no longer get hunger pangs or cravings for unhealthy food, my sleep cycle has improved, and gained much more energy. She even taught me the right way to eat nuts, pulses, dals, and rice. I had consulted a few dieticians before, where my weight graph was always fluctuating. When I met Mallika, I was in bad shape, where she not only understood me but also understood my body so well. I always preferred eating healthy food, but she made me realize that eating healthy is not enough—it’s about eating it the right way.

I was visiting India from US after a gap of five years. My health had undergone a huge change during those five years and I was puffy, overweight,bloated and uncomfortable during my trip. I already had hypertension so attributed it to jet lag and travel related. Once it all became a bit unbearable my husband and I decided to meet Malika since she had treated a relative of ours and we already had some great reviews from the family. Malika took one look at me and was able to tell that I was suffering from Inflammation and poor lifestyle, I was eating things I shouldn’t be, I was allergic to Gluten and so many things I was not even aware of. She took a deep dive into our way if living and found out so many bad things we were putting in our body unknowingly. We both went on her diet plan upon our return back to the States and combined with exercise and walking we each lost around 12 kgs rapidly . I was 77kgs when I starter and now I am 67kgs and on my journey to keep losing more. My goal weight is 55kgs and by staying on track I will be able to achieve that . Malika checks up and did video calls with us and is constantly pushing us and giving us support in terms of multiple iterations of the diet , adding and removing items that work /dont work. She is a constant support system who keeps you on track. We are thankful for her guidance towards a healthier lifestyle. I had a recent health scare but was able to recover faster and quicker because I was already on a clean lifestyle. I would highly recommend Malika and her knowledge is immense about food, how it effects you, diseases and how to navigate a healthier lifestyle. I have been a client of Malika since Oct 2020 and I only have positive things to say about my experience with her. She is incredibly knowledgeable in the field of nutrition and food-science. She simplified the whole diet and nutrition part of my life for me by keeping my meal plans simple and including foods I grew up eating. Her recipes are also simple, easy to follow, and so so delicious (not to mention healthy and loaded with all the good stuff too) :-). She is up-to-date with the latest research in nutrition and helps you understand the reasoning behind the food choices included in your meal plans. She is also very responsive and answers your queries with the greatest detail and patience. She regularly checks in to see how the meal plans are working for you, makes changes to incorporate foods you like, and exclude any foods that you do not enjoy or don’t work for you. By incorporating small changes in my meals and lifestyle, I have seen significant improvement in my health including but not limited to my gut health, hormonal health, energy levels, and sleep cycle.
Malika is not only an excellent nutritionist but is also very personable. She makes you feel comfortable in your skin, encourages you, and puts your mind at ease when you doubt yourself.
