Visited Dr. Bella Jagtap Palnitkar (Gynecologist) For Pregnancy
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
My first impression of Dr. Bella was extremely pleasant and positive which remains intact till today.
In my first meeting itself, I had conveyed to her my wish of giving a natural birth and she not only supported my decision but stood firm by my side right till the birth of my child.
During the initial days of my consultation, she introduced me to one of her patients at Irla Nursing Home, who had given a natural birth on the same day of my visit, so that I could calm my jitters by simply conversing with a new mother. A valuable act and an invaluable gesture! The patient, after answering my endless number of questions, assured me that I was in good hands. And I really was.
Dr. Bella did not prescribe the thousands of medicines ***** ********* ******* *** My visits to her were limited and precise. At the end of every visit, I would feel a load off my back. She treated my entire pregnancy as a natural course, which, after having witnessed several cases of my friends and family, I can claim is not a typical trait of a doctor. They usually tend to intimidate you so that you are entirely dependant on them for every decision and at the end are left with a sky-high hospital bill. Which is not the case with Dr. Bella.
I went into labour around 9pm and finally delivered at 1:19am. After an exhausting day of 3 back-to-back deliveries, Dr. Bella could have gone back home and rested until the hour of my delivery but instead she stayed put. Even the nurses and staff at the Irla Nursing Home were extremely helpful and provided me with a homely atmosphere, especially Dr.'s assistant Nalini.
At the tipping point when I couldn't bear the pain anymore, I requested Dr. Bella for a c-section but she refused, reminding me of my wish of having a natural birth and persuading me to go a little further as I had already come this far.
Dr. Bella is more than a qualified gynaecologist. She is this ultra-positive lady, who will go an extra mile to make sure you have the best possible transition into motherhood. She is like an elder sister. A beautiful human being.

After surgery she said there was this cancer tumor which they removed with surgery and now we have to go for further treatment. My point is, if she could have discussed with us on initial stage then we might have look up for other hospitals for the financial help* **** *** ******* **** ** **** **** **** **** ********** *** ********
