Patient is more serious , but he has not come to Mumbai , due to ticket problem. So we shall come in one or two days , so kindly treat immediately.

On 23rd Sept 2016, Dr Badwe, *** ********* ******* *** Director of Tata Memorial Cancer hospital in Mumbai, performed mastectomy on my 81-year-old wife Indira. This just saved her from becoming another victim of breast cancer.

We had absolutely no prior inkling of the largish tumour that had been growing unnoticed in the right breast, and were stunned when this was revealed in a mammography conducted a few weeks earlier.

Indira has had Diabetes for over 10 years. She had also undergone a quadruple heart bypass cum mitral valve change operation just 3 years earlier. Considering her age and diabetic and coronary history, we felt at a complete dead end. Consulting several doctors in Delhi only convinced us that Chemotherapy was an extremely risky option for her.

Seeing our desperate predicament, my daughter Nalini, a senior Railway Accounts officer, insisted on our rushing to Mumbai, and took us to Tata Memorial Hospital. She reached out to Dr Badwe directly, who promptly responded to her SMS request, and agreed to meet us immediately.

After just one physical examination, confirmed next day by scans, Dr. Badwe carried out the breast surgery two days later.

He completely removed the diseased breast and a large number of affected lymph nodes in the axila adjacent to the breast, and confidently discharged her from hospital on the 24th itself.

Apart from conducting this life saving surgery on the high risk patient, Dr. Badwe also filled my wife with a huge amount of confidence that the cancer had been fully removed from her body.

Indira is now recovering well. She has been advised 6 weeks of radiation therapy, possibly followed by some mild chemo. To our immeasurable relief she is alive, mobile, and STILL WITH ME.

GOD BLESS Dr BADWE and give him the very best of health, success, and above all, HAPPINESS, which he showers all around him every day to so many desperate patients.

It was my first visit for my aunt through due to covid 19 in world were not getting any appointment I have got the dr visit and started her test she is my maid and I’m expecting a best out of Tata hospital as we have faith in Tata group being a Parsi in personel

We had consulted with her for my mum's treatment in 2016 and were very happy with her advice.

Since mum's disease has grown now, came for a second opinion from her.

She is very clear in the advice she gave us this time as well and we were happy she met us. She also advised us to meet a chemotherapy specialist Dr.Sushmita Rath who was also extremely open and clear in her advice on way forward for my mum.

We came away happy to have taken the effort to travel to TMH from Pune

Just want to add for the benefit of other patients on Practo, when I was connected to extn 602, i was informed that Dr.Amita is available on Monday Tuesday and Thursday. However after I stood in queue at TMH for 30 minutes, i was infd that her OPD is only on Tuesday and Thursday. We were extremely lucky that Dr.Amita happened to be at TMH on Monday (22nd July) and we could consult with her. Pls check and recheck correct OPD days before travelling.

My Daughter Mrs.Kirti Patel was diagnosed with breast cancer but with some good friend made connect with Dr. BADWE and he gave the correct line of treatment. And in 2 months she is back to her normal life.

Wonderful Doctor, Pleasing personality. A god on earth. My neice (12 yr old female) had a right overian cyst. Surgery was conducted by Maheshwari madam. She kept on intimating each and every step of treatment. Displayed a high degree of professionalism. Of course we had to keep waiting for almost entire day to consult her, but thats ok>>>>. Finally the treatment matters.
