Dr. Maulik Parekh performed a highly advanced cardiac valve procedure TAVR on my father to treat his Aortic Valve in Sir H N Reliance Hospital.

After initially finding out my father has Severe Aortic Valve Stenosis I was referred to a cardiac surgeon who advised us to do the conventional open heart surgery for valve replacement.

Me and my Family's huge fear was the Trauma of Open Heart Surgery, it's complications and more over the painful recovery process and long time for him to be back to normal. I was determined that at age 74 I don't want my father to go thru this painful surgery. To add to it, my father has a rare blood group (B negative) and he already has two stents in his heart from previously done Angioplasty and more importantly a traumatic and painful kidney surgery done in past which was always back of his and our mind.

After an extensive research to find an alternative procedure for valve replacement I learnt about TAVR. That’s when I started looking for doctors who perform TAVR procedure in India and if possible in Mumbai. I came across a very humble profile of Dr. Maulik Parekh with not much social media hype, but I studied his profile and saw his extensive experience in TAVI / TAVR and decided to consult him.

After consulting and meeting with Dr.Parekh in Sir HN Reliance Hospital, who came across as a very young, friendly but passionate doctor and very thorough about TAVR. He explained me, my father and my sister very patiently about every detail of the entire process of TAVR including the pros and cons. Despite my fear and worry, he walked me through each step with great patience and answered all my queries calmly until we felt satisfied.  This consultation gave me and more importantly my father a lot of confidence and we were sure that he is the right doctor for my father's treatment and decided to go ahead with TAVR.

The procedure was done on 15th February and during the procedure Dr. Parekh and his entire team were very professional and caring, and they showed me and my father tremendous generosity of spirit.

I watched Dr. Parekh's team interact and the way whole Reliance Hospital staff were comforting and kept me informed and assured as I stood outside the OT about each and every step during procedure. I will never forget how Dr. Maulik came out of the OT after completion of procedure, he had a big smile and was so happy and told me that the procedure went excellent and everything went without any concerns and procedure was perfect. He took me inside immediately and explained me the whole procedure on screen as it was done real-time. He asked me to meet my Father in recovery room and I was amazed that my father spoke to me and was sharing his lovely experience in the OT and how the staff of OT kept comforting him and interacted with him with comfort.

The recovery of my father post surgery was very fast and was discharged on the 3rd day of the procedure. He is recovering very fast and has already started doing his everyday chorus by his own.

The quality of my experience here makes me wish everyone should get such wonderful doctor and treatment in our healthcare system like I am glad I could give my father.

Dr. Pritam Kataria is a very proficient oncologist in my opinion. A person very close to me was diagnosed of a rare form of lung cancer a few years back, that had already metastasized (reached other parts of her body) at that time. He was quick with his prognosis following a series of tests. We also consulted other oncologists about her condition as we did not know him well back then and they were in agreement with his treatment. He is a very empathetic person and can be counted on for a response even at odd hours. Unfortunately her condition was bad. Cancer is a disease that affects the entire family along with the patient and I think he understands that well. He is a very humble and patient person and he will guide you through all your options and be there for you throughout. She made a very impressive recovery due to his treatment and lived a lot longer than what we had anticipated back then. She was recovering and looked as healthy as ever when finally in 2019 we found out that some of it had reached her brain ** ********** ** *** ** ********* ** *** ***** *** ** *********** ******** Due to COVID-19 we weren't able to take her to Dr. Kataria physically because of all the inter-state restrictions and the scare but he was in contact throughout the time and changes to her treatments were made as per his directions. Unfortunately this time she did not make it, but I like to think we would've had a better chance had she been taken to him.

I visited Dr. Arun B. Shah at the OPD of HN Reliance Foundation Hospital with high hopes of getting proper treatment for persistent burning and numbness in my feet. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

Before taking the test, I was informed that the doctor would be available until 8:30 pm to review the report. ******** ***** ********** *** ***** * *** ********* ** ***** **** he had already left the hospital at around 7:30 pm. My appointment was scheduled for 2:20 pm, yet I had to wait until 5:30 pm just to see him. It felt as though the doctor’s time was considered valuable, while the time of patients—many of whom travel long distances (in my case nearly 50 km)—was not respected.

The next day, when I returned with the report expecting treatment, he instead prescribed additional tests to determine the root cause. **** * ***** ** *** ********* ** ****** ********** ** ********** ** ********* *********** ****** **** ** *** **** ****** * ****** ** ***** *********************** *** ************ *** ** ****** **** ***** ** ************* *** ******* **** *** ****** ************** Patients deserve to be heard, treated with respect, and given proper explanations about their health.

I hope the hospital administration takes such feedback seriously. Patients should think carefully before deciding to consult this doctor.

I visited with my Mother (Age 62) to Dr. Namrata Adulkar in month of June 2020, for DCR of Right Eye in ABMH Chinchwad.

In first visit Doctor gave tested, and explained in detail on paper to me and my mother as what is the problem, how procedure will be performed and how much time it would take to cure.

She explained this to my mother in friendly manner which helped my mother to be fearless and confident.

After a week scheduled procedure was done and it was perfectly done.

My mother said "Dr. Namrata Adulkar has good hand and she is very intelligent expert in her work"

I am very much thankful to Doctor as in spite of COVID pandemic, she performed the procedure and saved eyes of my mother as it was obstacle for catract.

I would surely like to recommend Doctor having wonderful hand and expertise.
