My wife went to this clinic for my little one’ regular vaccination for the 1st time.

While the experience with the doctor has been ok, however I was not happy with the Vaccination charges, although the clinic claimed that rate table was displayed at the corner of the reception area.

First of all, the vaccination charges charged to me was ~Rs 9k for total of 3 vaccines - combined MRP of which was ~Rs 6.3k.

On checking with the reception, I was told that it has Consultation charges and the administration charges for the vaccination totalling to Rs 2.7k. This was not clearly communicated to my wife knowing that it was my wife’ first visit. In fact I went to the doctor for vaccination and not consultation.

Further, this charges was 48% higher than the MRP and does not include the deep discount of 25-30%***** ****** *** *** ** ** **** **** **** *** ******* **** * ******* ** * ******** ***** **** * **** ****** **** *** *** *******

Secondly, not sure why they hesitate to share the payment receipts with the payment. I believe the receipt which has the breakup of charges should be shared with the patient without them asking.

When I asked for the receipt, I was told that they issue the same only if they are asked for. Since my wife has not asked, they have not issued the receipt which should not have been the case.

Also, not sure why the doctor was suggesting Cerelac for my Child ******* **** *** ******** *** *** ******

Very Nice Doctor. Explains everything with clarity. i am very impressed by the way he examined my 4 and half months baby boy. I would recommend him.

Have been visiting Dr. Vipul Mehrotra for my kids for the last 7 years and very satisfied with his treatments and consultation. He is patient, well updated and not quick to prescribe strong medication, which I like best. He has a very gentle hand with vaccinations as well.

I did visit a doctor before this but she was always in haste... hence decided not to take a risk with my 2 month old daughter so on recommendation of a friend took her here.
