I’m a 28 year old female and was diagnosed with a 15cm fibroid which is generally considered a huge one.

I was suggested to get operated and remove the fibroid before it starts causing any further trouble since I was caught absolutely on a silent note as I did not have any symptoms or pain as such.

Having such a huge fibroid clinging to the uterus I was obviously extremely worried about the procedure but the laparoscopy was extremely well performed without a single drop of blood loss and pain free. Dr. Piyush Goyal and his team did an outstanding job and helped my get rid of this huge fibroid.

Having said this I would sincerely request all females to keep a check on their physical health and get ultrasounds done on regular intervals.

Operating a fibroid laparoscopically is not dangerous at all and this myth needs to be resolved.

I underwent hysterectomy with fibroid removal with Dr. Piyush goyal in Agarval nursing home Bandra mumbai on june 4th 2015.

I aged 49yers was having a very big fibroid of nearly 15*16*12 cmsize in the fundus of the uterus with multiple other fibroids also for more than nearly 19yrs. as it was asymptamatic i was not very keen about its removal until the size became so big and started giving pressure symptoms. A stage came I had to remove it surgically to avoid damage to adjacent organs. Somy search for good doctors in the field started. I wanted to be under an expert in the field. I found Dr. piyushgoyal is one among them.

my experiences with him is full of pleasant memories only.My first visit itself was very interesting. He is a very good human being first. very compassionate, understanding, easily approachable, listen to your problems with patience, makes you comfortable. My every visit with him before surgery lessened my stress about surgery. His approach was very convincing. He took care of my doubts,clarified them, counselled me my husband especially as my husband is very much afraid of surgeries[which was one reason i was postponing my surgery.]

Doctor took care of all minute details before surgery.My blood requirements were arranged well in advance. He was very particular aboutkeeping blood available ready before starting surgery whether you may require it or not. He even delayed my procedure by an hour r so because of that.

Dr. Piyush took all precautions as my presurgical tests revealed suspected sarcomatous changes and decided the appropriate mode of surgery.

his wife Dr.swarna Goyal is also a practising gynaecologist.Dr. Agarwal Nursing Home is run by his Aunt Dr. meera agarwal very famous and senior gynaecologist in Bandra-Mumbai. Hence Dr. piyush is also practising in Agarwal Nursing Home with avery good team of assistants.

I also have to say the service from the nurses and other staffs of the nursing home was very satisfactory. You get personal attention. You are taken care of very well And they run a wonderful canteen also inside provide very tasty and healthy food indeed.

Inspite of space constraint issue of mumbai Dr. Piyush is doing his best he can very down to earth.

I m very fine after 41/2 months of surgery. My follow up after surgery is also taken care of well.

I recommend any women with gynaec problems can approach Dr. piyush Goyal especially for his skills.
