Prior to our visit to Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar in the last week of October 2021 we had consulted a number of Orthopaedic Doctors who all had suggested Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Surgery. Unfortunately none of them could explain us properly about this Surgery and hence our confusion went on increasing with each Doctor visit. It was only Dr. Kushal who explained us in a very simple but effective way about TKR Surgery and the immediate need for my wife to undergo this. Having got convinced we went in for surgery in the first week of December 2021.
Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar himself performed the surgery at Sunshine Hospitals. My wife got discharged within a week. Today after nearly 2 months she is able to walk normally without any pain. Me and my wife would rate this surgery as 100% successful one.
In Dr. Kushal we not only found an Extra Ordinary Surgeon but also a soft spoken human being. He was so convincing each time when me or my wife had any doubts during the pre and post surgery period. He has that unique combination of Knowledge, Expertise and Human Touch…..so rare to find in today’s world.
I strongly recommend Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar for all osteoporosis related Knee problems. He is available each day Monday to Friday after 7.00 PM at his Barkatpura Clinic(Opp to Shroff Hospital).

From the moment we walked into her clinic, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was friendly and professional, and the waiting room was clean and comfortable. When Dr.Niveditha came in to see us, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. Precisely for PCOD/PCOS, Menstural issues, Post & Pre Pregnancy & Pregnancy she is the like a go to person. Very humble, Subtle person - she will be best guide through your journey if we follow her perfectly. She wont suggest any test or treatment r food which is not needed. Doctor took 800 Rs fees and he prescribed only 60 rs antibiotics. I was not happy with it. He didn't explain what was the cause for the fungal infection. I wasted my time. I told the problem clearly. Waiting time was for one hour. I am not satisfied with the doctor. Later I went to skin department. Then they told to pay 500 Rs. I went because the rating was more in Practo. In pharmacy they told antibiotic tablet was not necessary. Doctor told that the fungal problem might be due to urine infection so I have visited another doctor for urine infection issue. Later I went to a different hospital and I got recovered. They could have told I should have gone to the skin department initially. My friend saw in app and he suggested to go. It was difficult to get an appointment there. I am good now.Read less
