So, are you someone who sits for long time? Do you sit slouched on the couch? I am sure there are people who could comfortably sit for long hours in poor sitting posture without any pain. I agree , you are normal as long as you are normal. But just lack of pain does not mean that your body is ignoring your poor sitting posture. It is trying its best to take up the stress and make you feel comfortable. But one day it will say, "enough is enough". That is the end of the tolerance of your body.
Make no mistake about it. Your body remembers every tiny little good thing you do and bad thing you do. It stores all the bad stress and one day it will pay back. That is the time, we seek medical intervention and probably gulping some tablets to get that momentary comfort, which will allow you to sit again and work. What a mess is this?
We understand now a days, sitting is very important for all of us to work, socialize, eat, drive and so one. But are we sitting correctly by maintaining the lumbar and cervical spinal curvature.? Nevertheless sitting more than two hours is not recommended to anybody. They have to just get up and stretch their back backwards and walk for a round for a minute or two and then resume their job. It is simply essential for their LONGEVITY.
BE MINDFUL ABOUT HOW YOU SIT, HOW LONG YOU SIT AND DOING THINGS OTHER THAN SITTING.
