Samosa is fried,outer layer is free from germs & Samosa can lead to a rise in bad cholesterol but Hot Samosa is Not the culprit,chutney and filling can cause infections to the 6 feet long food pipe and germs have enough space and food to grow and multiply rapidly.

1) Eat well heated foods only. Germs of Typhoid causing Salmonella can stay alive in freezing temperatures of Fridge & stay alive in yolk of a Half Fried Egg.

2) Eat enough Probiotics.

Our food pipe has lots of good bacteria which help in digestion..

Dahi/Curd is Best Probiotic.

One can have fancy products available over the counter( applicable to people who do not have a knack of making good curd)

3) Never drink fruit Juices on Empty Stomach as good bacteria get lots of sugar through fruit juices and these bacteria are not used to a sugar rich surroundings.

Lots of good bacteria gets killed ,if natural fruit juices are taken on empty stomach,though this rule is not applicable to eating whole fruits as they are full of fibers.

4)Wash fruits properly or eat covered fruits like oranges,bananas,coconut water etc.

Simple way to sterilize outer covering of fruits like Apples, Apricots,Pears etc is --

Take enough water to dip the fruits. Add few seeds of Fenugreek ( Methi Daana) to this water and immerse fruits in this for just few hours. 

Pick up the fruit and eat it without washing it again with tap water or RO treated water as Fenugreek seeds are Edible.

5) Wash hands thoroughly before eating even home cooked foods.

6)Street food / Junk foods cannot be avoided and it is futile to give lectures on merits/demerits of eating out.

Do Not indulge in Chutneys and juices and cut fruits or salads.

There is enough variety to choose from the items which are heated and well cooked eg 

Steaming hot rotis,paranthas,rice,well cooked vegetables and sweets which are steaming hot.

And both take us away from mundane routine of eating home cooked sterile food everyday!
