We have all, at least once, boasted about going on a diet or having a healthy lifestyle and ended up eating anything edible but healthy. We have all been there. With all the hustle bustle, constant work pressure, it is almost a necessity to try and have stress-free and healthy life. Now, I know it is easier said than done. So, here’show you can set healthy fitness and diet goals.

1. Motivation and Determination

First and foremost, one needs motivation to set fitness and diet goals and determination to follow it through. If you are here, I am assuming there is something that motivated you in the first place (even if that’s not the case, go find something to hook you on!) to have a fit and healthy body. What is it? That beautiful? Or was it an actor that inspired you? Whatever your motivation is, hold onto it! Note that without strong resolution, it will be impossible to start your fitness and diet regime. And even if you manage to start it somehow, it will beard to carry it on for a long time. So, go on and find all the inspirations you can to lead you to your goals.

Diet Goals:-

  • Aim to make breakfast a part of your routine.
  • Choose complex carbohydrates, §  Choose lean protein tofu, chickpeas, and soy, lentil, beans, fish, and chicken, egg white, milk and milk products.
  • Boost your fruit and vegetables.
  • Choose healthy fats like nuts, seeds, olives, olive oil, avocados. Fuel up before exercise like Banana or apple or Nuts. In heavy workout can take banana withstood peanut butter.

Fitness Goals:-

  • Reduce body fat
  • Improve metabolism
  • Improve posture
  • Strong bones
  • Build muscle
  • Improve joint flexibility
  • Improve endurance.
  • Improves stamina

2.Know Your Body, Be Honest with Yourself

This is another important factor to keep in mind. You must know your body. You must know what food suits you, what doesn’t. Ever had an accident? Ever suffered from an injury? What are your usual eating habits? Any food allergies? You-should keep all of this in mind before setting your goals because no one knows you better than you. Be mindful of not blindly following any diet plans or fitness regime you see out there.

3.Set Personalized and Realistic Goals

Now I am sure we all want to have those extra pounds chopped off as soon as possible. But let’s be realistic here. You cannot miraculously expect a perfect and healthy body immediately after a few days of exercise and healthy eating. No.That doesn’t happen. It will just leave you overexerted and disappointed. We all have different bodies, and each body works differently (and hence the 2nd point). Once we know what our body is like, we need to set goals that cater to our body’s need and works in harmony with our body’s capacity.

4. Focus- one step at a time

Focus on one goal at a time. Don’t make too many goals that may be difficult to achieve altogether. Set an area of focus because having too much on hands may create unnecessary pressure and might demotivate and deviate you from your goals. We don’t want that, do we?

It is also important to haves positive mindset and appreciate all the little goals that you achieve. Being too harsh won’t do any good. Depending on our needs and our bodies, it may take some time to achieve the goals, but do not be disheartened, you will get there, slowly but healthily.
