The Dengue Fever is a mosquito-borne disease, and over the years, it has become an increasingly common problem in developing nations. 

The dengue fever is caused by the dengue virus, which is carried by the Aedes Mosquito. While it has been observed that the dengue fever is treatable with proper medical care, it can be fatal if it goes untreated.   

Some of the common symptoms of the dengue fever can be: 

1. High Fever 

2. Headaches 

3. Vomiting 

4. Muscle and Joint Pain 

5. Skin Rashes 

While these symptoms may or may not necessarily point out towards Dengue, it is advisable to get yourself checked for dengue if you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms. 

However, these are the early symptoms of the disease. Sometimes people tend to overlook them, and it develops into a more serious form of Dengue, where the symptoms can be: 

1. Bleeding 

2. Low levels of blood platelets 

3. Blood plasma leakage 

4. Low blood pressure.

What Causes Dengue?

The dengue virus, one of the most dangerous diseases caused by mosquitoes, can be prevented by proper care. The simplest way to stay safe from this disease is to ensure that mosquitos do not breed in your surroundings. 

1. Keep your windows closed! Do not let the mosquitos enter your surroundings. 

2. Eat plenty of garlic!Mosquitos have been known to be repelled by garlic (keeping in mind religious sensitivities). 

3. Use mosquitos repellant sprays 

4. Ensure that there’s no uncovered collection of stagnated water nearby.
