My father is a post kidney transplant patient (transplant done in 2017). Over the last 2–3 years, he developed an incisional hernia, which gradually became quite large. We consulted many doctors, but most of them were hesitant because hernia repair in kidney transplant patients is considered high-risk.

Our nephrologist, Dr. Vikram Kalra Sir, referred us to Dr. Randeep Badhawan Sir, *** **** ****** *** ** ** *** **** ********* During the consultation, Dr. Badhawan Sir explained everything calmly and confidently. He told us that incisional hernia is common in transplant patients and that he has extensive experience in handling such cases.

His clarity, confidence, and honesty gave us immense reassurance. After proper discussion, the surgery was planned and successfully performed on 05/12/2025 at Max Hospital Dwarka. The surgery went smoothly, and most importantly, there was no impact on the transplanted kidney. My father is now absolutely fine and recovering well.
