Visited Dr. Sunil Kaul (General Surgeon)
I rate this hospital as good *** **** **** * **** ** ***** **** ** *** **** ******* ** **************** ********** ** ****** ******** *** ******
I had been affected with covid -19 Delta variant in the Ending month of June. During this covid I developed pain in abdomen while in hospital for getting treatment of covid. On timely Examination and notice of doctors, they Referred me to another hospital in UAE. On doing CT scan of my abdomen, it was found I had colon rupture (Large intestines cut/damaged) and Whole puss of large intestines was spreading slowly to other parts. So, Doctors there took first call of immediate surgery in month of July 2021 and drained the puss from abdomen. Due to covid and immediate surgery I had lot of weakness., After Few days immediately travelled to India.
After one week pain again started in abdomen, followed by redness. After Enquiring about the best Gastroenterologist from my brother-in-Law, I came to Apollo hospital Delhi. Here I First met Physician Dr.N.M TICKOO who later on referred me to Dr SUNIL KAUL Who is surgeon in department of Gastroenterology Apollo hospital Delhi. He examined me and advised for another immediate surgery in order to remove puss from abdomen, so that it does not spread to other parts. After doing surgery in the month of August 2021, he created Fistula(opening) in my body in order to drain puss from colon so that it does not get accumulated again.
He advised me to keep these 2 wounds open and these wounds should not get closed .Dr Sunil Kaul tried to give 2 to 3 months healing time in order to avoid another 2 major surgeries. But due to my bad luck colon rupture did not heal on its own. Dr Sunil Kaul motivated me a lot and gave me confidence. Later I went for another 3rd Major surgery in month of December 2021 and was admitted for 11days where Dr Sunil Kaul did my surgery of colon Repair and created ileostomy (small intestine detached from colon and taken out from body connected with ileostomy bag). Also went for 4th Major surgery in the month of January 2022 for ileostomy closer.Inspite of facing such bad time, because of multiple surgeries, I feel lucky enough to have met Dr Sunil Kaul who came in form of God…. gave me another life. Never seen such a doctor being so down to earth, humble and always ready to help. He is master of his profession and completely knowledgably and carried these surgeries himself. Now I am completely fit and fine by the blessings of Sai baba and dedication of Dr. Sunil Kaul.
Dear all my intention of writing this is not to gain any sympathies, but to make everyone aware what I faced with fight against covid.
• Doctors are referred as life savers. Timely treatments is available but right doctors sometimes are not available. I was lucky enough to have met right doctor on right time. My father has been suffering from CKD( Chronic Kidney disease) from last 2 years. I live in Chicago(USA), being away from my parents was very disheartening to see his kidney numbers going bad. I found Dr Sarin online through Practo while searching for top 10 nephrologists in delhi. After reading all the reviews shared by patients on google reviews and practo, i knew i could trust him with my father. We went to 2 more Nephrologist’s before contacting Dr.Sarin without any change in his condition . After our first consultation with Dr Ashok Sarin my father started feeling drastically better mentally and physically. His creatinine, potassium and Microalbumin numbers have started coming down. He has been under Dr Sarin’s treatment from last 2 months and there is a tremendous change in his kidney functioning, all his number are almost within range now.He give such positive vibes to the patients, that patients starts feeling better immediately. Nobody prescribed such wonderful medicines for my father’s kidney issues like Dr Sarin. He made my father a different person, he never used to do any exercises but after one consultation with Dr Sarin he has started doing exercises daily and taking care of his health. Visited Dr. Sunit Mediratta (Neurosurgeon)
** ** *** ** *** **** ******* * **** **** **** ****** *** he exactly knows what he is doing.
Dr. Mediratta performed a microdisectomy in my lumbar spine in L1-L2 region (which is very hard to performed as this region is adjacent to the end point of the spine and these kind of cases are only 0.1% out of all lumbar spine surgery cases in the world) successfully and after 1 and a half year, I can happily say that I'm performing with my best capabilities.
His nature as a doctor is so good that you won't fear the ongoing problem rather will focus on getting well.
Before meeting Dr. Mediratta, I went to several other high profile doctors (some with even 40+ years of spine surgery experience) but most of them suggested fusion surgery which I knew is very bad for my spine in future (unless I broke some bones in my spine) as I have already researched about my condition and after looking for a surgeon who can person microdisectomy I found him and now I'm totally fine and doing whatever I love in my life.
Happy Recovery to all
