Visited Dr. Sanjeev Gulati (Nephrologist/Renal Specialist)

Today i have taken Online Tele consultation from Dr.Sanjeev Gulati. I got to know about Dr Sanjeev from his highly knowledgeable brief crisp youtube videos done in a simple format easy to understand for the patient. This testimonial is to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Sanjeev Gulati for his teleconsultation today ( my first interaction ), I scheduled online appointment to seek emergency guidance from Dr.Sanjeev Gulati - my geriatic senior citizen mother has multiple complications and as of today her CKD stage 5 post covid has deteriorated with all key Kidney pathology indicators - all out of normal range. I found Dr.Sanjeev Gulati prompt in his responses to whatsapp queries, he had reviewed all the medical records submitted that saved time during the teleconsult. In Dr. Sanjeev Gulati i found respect and empathy and sincerest concern for patient welfare and above all - he values "what the patient wants - as at stage 5 with multiple life critical complications, my mother is requesting for non invasive treatment options as she already is in excruciating pain". Dr. Sanjeev Gulati 'changed/modified' my existing prescription that has too many medications ( poly pharmacy ) and after having an initial assessment of the patient condition, Dr Sanjeev Gulati gave prescription that mentioned some life saving medications - lowering creatinine , treatment plan for edema and anemia. For me as a patient attendant i found his way of giving prescription in writing very helpful as it clearly mentions the name, dosage, frequency, when to take which medicine. I sincerely hope, wish and pray that my beloved mother gets some relief from her excruciating pain and her kidney key indicators improves post medication so that she can continue with a reasonable life. I thank Dr. Sanjeev Gulati for his quick reply/ response to whatsapp questions/ queries post teleconsultation. Thanks and rgds....anurag mittal - patient attendant.
Visited Dr. Rashmi Taneja (Plastic Surgeon)

Dr Rashmi Taneja is a rare and a rather unique blend of a person. She tries to lead by example, both her patients as well as her medical colleagues, in terms of:
1. Disci pline, integrity & proactive ‘karma yog’ when it comes to the practice of her rather demanding profession
2. Real concern, sensitisation & empathy especially to her patients where most other doctors & medical professionals pay lip service, are whimsical, and then often disappear when actually needed.
● The first point above constitutes her ‘tough, no-nonsense exterior’, that helps her stay focused, and almost always unconditionally direct and honest, even if it comes at the cost of seeming a bit abrasive, curt or somewhat socially ‘undiplomatic’.
● This might seem like a ‘difficult’ personality trait, and might even mislead those who judge a book by its cover, or a pill by whether & how much it’s sugarcoated.
● But to even a slightly keener eye it firstly shows her own sensibly idealistic expectations of herself (only a sliver of which gets projected onto others around, to be honest). To quite a few people, her being “realistically idealistic in her own way” might come across as being unrealistic.
● This subtle difference of perspective and attitude holds a key question..
● Would I prefer to be treated, especially in an emergency or critical condition, by a doctor who demands the best of medical care of themselves and of their medical fraternity for their patient, and a doctor who risks stepping on a few toes in the process..?..
● ..?..or a people-pleaser & a sweet-talker, who ‘takes things easy’, and to whom ‘just enough’ is their highest standard of medical care?
I got to meet & know Dr Rashmi at Fortis (Vasant Kunj) after a fall from a moderate height broke my left foot, causing fractures and big, open gashes/wounds which required both an orthopedist and a plastic surgeon. The treatment is still on-going as of March-end 2022, and will likely continue for the months to come.
I would prefer a doctor like Dr Rashmi to be my physician, for any ailment or medical issue, not just because of her medical training, experience & expertise, but also certainly because of the person she is.

Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyWait time
I have been consulting Dr. Neha Jain(Fortis hospital Vasant Kunj) for my wife's maternity. The way she goes into detail of each underlined problem area, be it's organisation of any test details or maintenance of any future tests which not only gives level of comfort to patient/attendant but makes them realise that you are being taken care by such a professional person.
This pandemic situation is a nightmare when someone is going through maternity journey. Dr. Neha and their staff gives proper advise to patient is at ease.
During the complete journey after conceiving to birth of a child she does give proper note of each visits to patient's which helps is guidance for each step of the pregnancy.
She knows how to set an example with such an advise if something needs to be taken care seriously and to be followed by patient. Also if patient is panicking for something which is not really important, she does proper counselling so the patient is at comfort. Also despite having a busy schedule all over the day, while listening or addressing to patient she gives proper ear/advise/time.
Any emergency situation, patient is always the first priority in Dr. Neha's list.
To achieve all the above Dr. Neha has created such a wonderfull team under her with proper training she has given so that the same advise and understanding goes from each line of duty with her team from top to bottom or bottom to top. Without naming them or thanking them it would be incomplete..Ms jyoti, Ms veronica are the team which we came across the journey have always been such a professional behaviour and kind gesture which took us hand in hand.
I really appreciate and thanks a ton to Dr. Neha Jain and her team for the way we are being taken care at hospital.
