I visited Dr. Maheshwari in 2018 for my right knee pain treatment, when I was 65 years old. He advised me to go for a Partial Knee replacement. In simple terms - The knee has 3 parts - Inner, Outer, and Cap. If one part is replaced then It is called Partial Replacement (UKT). I was apprehensive so visited a couple of renowned doctors in Gurgaon, who suggested Total Knee Replacement(TKT). Dr. Maheshwari's suggestion was that if 2 parts of your knee are ok then why replace it? Took a chance and got my Partial Knee Replacement done in 2018 when he was at Max Saket. In the last 5 years, my right knee has worked well - Did lots of trekking in the Mountains.

This year my Left knee started giving me trouble while trekking in the Himalayas.

Decided to go back to him in April. The team - Dr. Maheshwari, Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Nitin, and Pramila has now moved to Sita Ram Bhartia. Again his suggestion was to go for Partial Knee Replacement of the Left knee. Got operated on 2nd May, Discharged from Hospital on 4th May, and walked to my car with little assistance from my wife.

3 Specific things, I like about him and his team : (1) Dr Maheshwari performs critical part of the operation and is always available to provide advice and help (2) Dr Nitin, Pain management expert does not let you cry in pain - he is the best (3) Dr Ahmed, Makes sure that you are doing well post operation and are charged the right amount.

Lastly, Pramila and her team make sure you are well-informed about the next step and connect quickly in case of urgency.

After 3 Weeks of operation, I am walking without any assistance and not taking any pain killer- the beauty of Partial Replacement.

I met Dr. Vikram for my torn ACL and meniscus. He had explained the problem and solution very well. He advised to go for arthroscopic surgery for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair to avoid any issue in the future. I was too much worried about my problem but he is so humble and explained the entire surgical process in detail and assured me and my family not to worry and my knee will be as it was earlier before the injury.

I was recommended by my uncle who is a Doctor and that’s why I came from Bangalore to Delhi to consult him and he is so nice that he could see me at a short notice without any prior appointment. He is really an expert in his area and I knew that I was in a safe hand for my surgery. It is 7 weeks post my surgery now and I can walk like a normal person without any problem.

He is so kind, calm, humble and good human being and always available for his patients. He listens very patiently and responds to all the queries quickly even on what's app. During my 7 weeks post-surgery, I have contacted him many times and always he responded timely and guided me.

As a fellow professional I knew Dr. Maheshwari for over two decades. For long I’ve come to admire his professional opinion. This was the first time I saw him as a patient. He was punctual to the dot. He did a thorough physical examination after a detailed history taking. After perusing the investigations and the lab reports he gave an unambiguous opinion. My daughter accompanied me as the attendant. He patiently explained to her my problem, and what was needed to be done in lay terms.

As a person I find Dr. Maheshwari a cheerful and affable soul. One can sense sincerity and transparency as he interacts. I am from Canada in Toronto, I met Dr Vikram Mhaskar twice this week to discuss my severe knee bending problem , I felt safe with Doctor Vikram with the feeling that his not after my money but for the BEST of my interest. We are very greatful to have met Dr Vikram , ** ** ** ********* ********* **** ***** . I visited for my hip related issue post steroids which were given to me when I had contracted covid . My local orthopaedic doctor advised a surgery for this issue . As my wife is an old patient of Dr Vikram and Dr Maheshwari we decided to take his expert opinion, he examined me patiently and saw all my reports and explained my issue in detail and gave me the correct guidance. A doctors correct advise can really put you in high spirits and that makes half the recovery.

He is a gem of person. He does my ACL , lateral articular and miniscius surgery and everything is gone very smoothly.

After 6 weeks of surgery he allows me to walk and that to without any support neither crutches nor any braces.

Also he doesn’t prescribe me any medicine except a pain killer and that too on SOS basis.

His team is also awesome.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude with my experience with such a knowledgeable and humble doctor After thorough examination, my surgery has been avoided and explained in details about pros and cons of surgery and future course of treatment. Even before we asked our questions he listed the doubts in our mind with answers leaving us speechless. Needless to say all previous doctors on seeing Xray suggested surgery. Horrible horrible experience with Dr J Maheshwari. He did my mom’s partial knee replacement for both legs. Its been more than 6 months and she is still not able to walk. *** *** **** ******* **** ******** ** ******** *** ** *** ****** *** ******* ** **** She has come several times to this doctor. Instead of apologizing or treating her case, he kept on pushing her away with more and more tests as part of diagnosis. She is an out of station patient and have wasted lot of her time and money on him. I have waited and thought enough to write this review.
