Hi sir...     There are two kinds of crown material available: Metal ceramic crowns zirconia crowns Metal ceramic crowns (without warranty ) is Rs 3500 usually zirconia crowns ranges of Rs 10000 zirconia of Rs 3000 is very low and may be the material  is poor quality Zirconia is a METAL FREE CROWNS MADE UP OF DIAMOND CRYSTALS.... The strength and durabilty and esthetics is  much better than  Metal ceramic crowns.... It is also NON ALLERGIC because of absence of metal component METAL CERAMIC CROWNS   Even though the metal ceramic crowns are durable because of  metal component they have the capacity to produce DARK LINE  near the cervical region of tooth

Metal 1500 Rs. For a PFM crown, the cost would be around 3k. For an all ceramic one, the cost would be around 7k. Or more depending upon the quality. 3000 is too less to get a quality crown from a qualified dentist.

Take second opinion. Spending money such not be a problem. But getting good treatment should be your priority

3000 for Zirconia is way too less, probably there's a miscommunication. The difference in the cost varies according to the material being used, that is the type of zirconia, the lab , the precision fit and the proper protocol followed.

Hi.. Cost of 3000 for zr crown is too less... Don't know exactly what you are going to get... Its not only price of zirconia material but all factors matter in treatment. Dr should be knowledgeable and experienced and should be technically sound. Plz look for all these factors too. Difference between different crown materials is about material strength, features etc. Understand it well before you think of treatment.

Well there are different brands of zirconia available like upcera sirona procera and so on. Based on how much the pt is willing to pay, the lab decides the brand of zirconia to be used for fabricating the crown. For example upcera crown are much cheaper, but they fracture rather easily as compared to other brands.
