For front teeth zirconia is fine but depends upon your occlusion. Back teeth you can choose whichever. Aesthetically zirconia is good. Where high strength is desired metal ceramic is ideal
hloo sir
we you can you should go for the zirconia crown as it's inert material and do not cause any irritation to the gum tissue while as metal ceramic that will cause a irritation to the gums at microscopic level
If it’s front teeth go for emax crowns and if it’s posteriors go for zirconia. These are ideal options.
DMLS is also a good option if zirconia seems expensive. DMLS is a type of metal ceramic crown but the metal part of it is fabricated by laser sintering machine. While zirconia is completely CAD fabricated that is machine fabricated. Zirconia has better esthetic over DMLS. Strength wise both are similar. Zirconia will have better fit and occlusion. DMLS will have good fit.
All the types of crowns have their own advantages and disadvantages.
If it is a behind tooth....chewing is the function for which strength is required. All ceramic crowns have good strength.
For front tooth....concern being the aesthetics...zirconia are suitable.
The span of lasting is all dependent on you. The well you maintain the longer it will last.

Health Tips
root canal is incomplete without a crown. donot delay the treatment
All crowns are good.... Which 2 teeth root canal is being done, u haven't mentioned. Anyways, for the anterior teeth(front teeth) , zirconia(all ceramic) is a good option. It comes with a warranty as well. It's costly.
If it's the posterior teeth(back teeth) then the best would be metal ceramic crown.... Or you can go for a all metal crown also(which will be the cheapest)....
All crowns are hard and good.
It's just that the all ceramic is both looks and strength wise also it's good.
