Cost of ceramic teeth cap
I had a RCT recently. It was ok but the charges I feel is a bit high. I will be having my teeth cap soon. So I was wondering what is the average cost of ceramic tooth cap? With warranty and without warranty? In Hyderabad?

At my clinic it is 7000.. warranty is for 10 years but only for mechanical failures

RCT is an expensive treatment if you are getting it done from a specialist (ENDODONTIST). Range of ceramic caps is 5k- 15k with warranty also ranging from 5yrs- 15yrs, depending upon the dentist, and the lab where the crowns are being fabricated.

HI,
Root canal treatment is an expensive treatment if you get it done by a specialist (ENDODONTIST). Ceramic tooth cap that you are looking for is metal free. they are costly as compared to cap with metal base. Cap with warranty can cost you around 10k. Cap without warranty can cost you something around 6k.

What makes you feel that the charges of the RCT were "a bit high"????? were you not informed about the treatment cost before the procedure started????? it is a procedure that saves a tooth from extraction and obviously alleviates your symptoms also..... also the job done by the dentist has to be respected and the price is for that only..... furthermore, just like any other treatment, the cost of the treatment will vary from dentist to dentist..... there is no fixed price for a ceramic cap and it can range from 3000 to 20000, because ceramic caps are of two types- metal ceramic and all ceramic, the latter being costlier.....
