Wisdom toothache
I have been having this wisdom toothache since two days even after taking pain killers. Its unbarable now and my gums and tongue has got severe swelling n pain.

please dont delay your visit to a omf surgeon as you might need some antibiotics and removal of your tooth by surgery. excessive medication will only create drug related problems as well. but antibiotics if not taken can make the situation worse for you by spread of infection to dangerous areas in the neck and beneath the tongue

Painkillers can help get over pain. They can't treat infections.. With such unbearable pain.. don't wait for online suggestions.. Please visit a Dental Specialist ASAP

Better get the intraoral x-ray done and get it extracted from oral surgeon.

Wisdom tooth infection is common when the tooth is impacted within the bone n infection in gums. These could lead to swelling and pain. Only pain killers may not work on infections. Visit your Dentist at earliest. Dr R Chethan MDS 96117&33755

Painkillers can provide temporary symptomatic relief but the pain and symptoms are bound to reappear.
