Wisdom tooth pain
Hello my lower wisdom tooth extracted 1 year back ,and numbness in lips and check area and pain occurs in lower jaw please help

This is called nerve paresthesia which occurs due to injury to nerve beneath the tooth , it is reversible most of times within 10 to 24 months using medication if no results were seen then go fr nerve repair treatments. for medications and more information u can consult me

If pain persists after 1 year,muscle spasm may occur. Muscle relaxants along with analgesics and corticosteroids has to be taken if necessary. Physiotherapy and dietary instructions to be followed. You can consult through this for prescription of medication.

Hii.. After extraction of wisdom tooth, numbness which is called dental paresthesia is more common in lower jaw cases.. There are many treatments of this problem ie. Therapeutic management or surgical nerve regeneration.. So no need to worry

Hi, The numbness could be from parasthesia and there are chances that a tingling sensation could be felt as pain which is common in parasthesia.
