I am a 25-year-old male (178 cm). I recently did a Thyrocare “Healthy 2026” blood test and several values were abnormal. My main results are:
Vitamin D 7.2 ng/mL (severely low),
Vitamin B12 155 pg/mL (low), Folate 3 ng/mL (low). Lipids:
Triglycerides 272 mg/dL (high),
HDL 35 mg/dL (low),
LDL 122 mg/dL (borderline high), TG/HDL ratio 7.87. Fasting glucose 109 mg/dL and
HbA1c 5.7% (borderline prediabetes). ESR is 40 mm/hr.
Ferritin 51 ng/mL, iron profile,
thyroid,
liver,
kidney, zinc and urine tests are normal.
My diet is mostly vegetarian with occasional eggs, and I walk ~6000 steps daily. Based on these results, what supplements or treatments would you recommend (e.g., Vitamin D, B12, folate, omega-3, etc.), and what dosages or duration would typically be appropriate?
