Hi could you please suggest what all good items to avoid from regular diet if somebody is diagnosed with cholesterol.. and also what food items to include in the diet

Will surely help you. - Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables in your diet to increase fibre content of your diet. - Include healthy fats like almonds, walnuts, flaxseed, chia seedsin your diet - Avoid consumption of added sugar which is usually present in packaged and processed foods and junk food. - Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and indulge in regular exercise. -Get yourself proper rest and sleep. Hi Please avoid all types of junk foods, fast foods, transfats, fried and deep fried items, outside restaurant foods, processed items , instant ready to eat mixes, high fat milk and milk products,all sweet itemsand desserts, chocolates and so on... High fiber foods , moderate plant proteins, moderate complex carbs, low fat, more plain water, moderate work, physical active all day long, quality sleep. Foods such as fish ( Salmon, Mackerels), chicken Soups, walnuts, almonds, whole cereal grains, millets, low fat dairy, plant proteins , fibrous fruits and veggies, dark green leafy vegetables, flaxseeds etc.. are really helpful.. hello, Cholesterol is a type of fat and if your hdl is low and ldl is high you need to worry about and try including more fibrous fruits and veggies. avoid eating outside food and fried food. oats, barley, and fibrous veggies are really helpful in reducing the cholesterol. But you have any other health issues along with this pls consult a dietitian who will be able to make a customized diet plan for you.

Hi, Please increase the intake of fibre rich foods like fruits,Leafy vegetables,Sprouts, Vegetable seeds like Methi seeds, sunflower,Pumpkin,Melon seeds which are sun dried. Whole grains like Oats, Barley,Pulses etc. Avoid fried, Bakery items,Processed foods,Butter,Cheese, Full fat dairy etc.
