Weight problem
My height is 6 feet and weight is 120 kg. Is it possible to lose weight by joining a diet program? Will it help me out? My cholesterol and sugar are at borderline.

Hello. As per your description your BMI is around 37. With any kind of diet and exercise you would be losing approx 10-15kg of weight but that is still insufficient as your ideal body weight is around 85kgs. Also the moment you stop dieting and exercise the 10-15kg that you have lost will bounce back again. According to me for you to lose weight to approx 35-40kgs you need to undergo bariatric surgery as it will help you lose weight in a scientific manner and you will be able to maintain it for long term. Please dont worry that you have to undergo a surgery as with all modern techniques it does not feel like any major issue. All my patients start walking back on their feet same day of surgery.

You need to take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Do crunches and pushups daily to reduce belly fat. Ask me directly for customized diet plan for you.
