Yes, you may take GLP 1 analog as per doctor advised, but along with  GLP you need lifestyle modification and diet.

Hi, thanks for asking. 120 kg pe weight loss ka sochna acchi baat hai. GLP is a prescription medicine, it is not a normal supplement. Iske liye proper doctor checkup, blood tests and continuous monitoring zaroori hota hai, specially jab aap abroad ho. Isliye aap please jahan abroad ho wahi ke local doctor / obesity specialist se milo. Wahan ke rules ke hisab se hi wo guide karenge, online aise koi bhi doctor prescribe nahi kar sakta. Meri taraf se nutrition side se - agar aap chaho to lifestyle correction se hum support kar sakte hain, jisse chahe aap GLP lo ya na lo, muscle loss kam ho aur gut health bani rahe - jaise proper protein, fiber, water intake, time se sona, daily walk. GLP se weight toh kam hota hai par agar diet sahi nahi hui toh wapas aa jata hai, isliye diet + lifestyle sabse important hai. You can book online video consultation,

Firstly Before starting Check blood parameters and your health conditions * Age, height, weight → BMI * Diabetes/prediabetes and BP history * Current medications * Kidney/liver problems * Gallstones or pancreatitis history * Personal/family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2 — semaglutide is contraindicated with these. * Baseline HbA1c/fasting glucose, lipid profile, liver and kidney function Then focus on your diet Diet while starting GLP-1 * Protein: approximately 1.0–1.2 g/kg/day, adjusted for kidney status * 3 small meals rather than very large meals * Plenty of vegetables + adequate fibre * Avoid fried/high-fat meals, alcohol excess and sugary drinks * Hydration is important, especially if nausea/vomiting occurs. * Include resistance exercise to help preserve muscle.

If you’re considering starting a GLP-1 medication for weight loss, please consult a qualified doctor/endocrinologist in the country where you are currently residing. GLP-1 medications require a proper medical assessment, including your BMI, medical history, current medications and relevant blood tests, before starting. Please don’t start them without medical supervision. Along with medication, a structured nutrition and lifestyle plan is important for sustainable weight loss and maintaining muscle mass. You can consult to an Endocrinologist/ Diabetologist here on practo as well.

If you’re considering starting a GLP for weight loss, I’d first recommend discussing it with your doctor and getting a proper medical assessment. Since you’re based outside India, it’s best to consult a doctor locally who can advise you according to the guidelines and medications available in your country.
