I am a feeding mother.. my daughter is 8 months old. My height is 5'7" and weight is 83 kgs. I am suffering from hypothyroidism from pregnancy time... I need to lose weight to control thyroid.. pls suggest a good diet plan.. Your weight should be 65-68 , First you need to compromise with your taste bud ,cut down your calorie intake do some physical activity . For everyday basis you need to add 1 milk products 1 mix pulses 1 veg portion 1 dry fruits portion Less roti or chawal In your diet in balance mode everyday .

Hi, Weight loss is a process and needs to be done the right way to ensure it is sustainable and long-lasting. As you are feeding mother it is important that while losing weight nutrients are not compromised. As per your height ideally your weight should be 66 kgs to be in the normal range of BMI. BMI 18.5-22.9 is an indicator of health based on your height and weight.  Following guidelines can be of help as a start - 1. Never skip meals and eat balanced meals 2. Ensure two fruits throughout the day preferably mid meals 3. Incorporate protein rich foods such as dals,pulses, sprouts, low-fat dairy, non-veg, etc in every meal 4. Ensure you start with exercise for 30 minutes daily. 5. Drink 2-3 liters of water daily 6. Hi, According to your ht your wt should be  70 kg. Height in cm- 100= ideal body weight.As your baby is 8months old right time me to start with exercise and wtloss. As you are gaining wt, thyroidism is there you need a protein rich diet.protein and vitamin defficiate diet leads to fat gain.

As per your height you have to be between 65-70 kg. Small and frequent meals, diet more in proteins and restricted in carbohydrates will help you to lose weight.
