Waxing causing darkness in underarms
I have had dark underarms for a while so I stopped waxing. Now that I started again the darkness around the underarms has increased and spread. Please suggest. Thanks.

Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation is a notoriously difficult condition to reverse.
In your case, I would first start by treating for any treatable issues like an Intertrigo/Erythema (some more pics and a simple test..scraping for KOH will be required).

The darkness is looking like a post inflammatory pigmentation also..Darkness of the underarms can also be due to deodorants..due to allergens in wax used..or increased BMI..need detailed history for further evaluation

Yes waxing can incite allergic reaction plus trauma friction all stimulates pigment formation cells hence pigmenting is possible best way is laser hair reduction chemical peeling or laser tonning can be added on to reduce pigmentation
